We flew on Norwegian Airlines to Barcelona out of Oakland in 2017.  It was very reasonable fare and the plane was the best I’ve been in.  It was sad that the company went out of business.

They are still in business.     https://www.norwegian.com/en/route-map/

just no flights in or out of the US.

Kudos to

Mark ( @h20skibum)

and

John ( @Ozark_Kid)

for being such hands on grandfathers and sharing their joy with us 😄

Thanks Dani, and I hope you are feeling better.  The one good thing about the pandemic lockdown, is that we got to spend so much more time with our grandkids.  First it was being with our two here while they did remote learning, then having our California grandson here last summer and this one.

We feel blessed that our bonds are even stronger.  I do feel bad that our grandson from California has not been able to spend any time with his other two grandparents, since before the pandemic.  They were always so involved with him, but they have been unable to travel here due to China’s strict travel policies.  Hopefully soon.

How nice to see a Poppies on Blue plate again. It was my daughter’s everyday dishes and when she changed to another pattern, the whole set  went to Tallahassee to my granddaughter’s condo.

We do use those for everyday dishes.   I know Susan had to hunt for a couple replacement bowls that were broken, and managed to find some.

@George C happy anniversary.

My Wife does all the feeding of the cats,  somehow I'm the one that has to take care of the other end !!!

The Litter Boxes are my domain !  😞  I know it's a shitty job, but someone has to do it. 😞

I am in charge of input and meds.  My husband is in charge of output.  LOL

I love those dishes, one of my favorite patterns.

There are very few Mayflies today.  They had a truck out this morning cleaning the streets and the sidewalks are clean.  The area I took the pic of yesterday is all cleaned up.  I even saw a lady at the park sweeping out the flower beds.

i actually have a phone interview tomorrow.

he had planned to move with us though I knew he wouldn’t actually do it. He’s a 21 year old that doesn’t know what he wants. 🙂

I just wish he wouldn’t have hurt Nate with the yes I will/no I hate it stuff.

Good luck with your interview tomorrow.

Is Nate going to open up fence biz in FL?

Most 21 yr olds don't know what they want these days.   Our oldest son still flip flops which upsets his Father.  I've learned to just go with the flow and not get upset with his indecisiveness.

You may have said before but where in SC are you, we were looking at the Greenville area at first for our move but after looking in that area we  thought it was to super busy and conjested around there for our liking. The roads around there were really bad, took forever even when traveling short distances.

It would have been to much like NJ for us. Looked to a lot of building going around Greenville too, so it was only going to get worse.

Very happy where we are now in VA.

Our address is officially North Myrtle Beach, very close to the NC border, a little over a mile from the beach as the crow flies on the west side of the intracoastal.  Yes it can get very busy on the east side of the intracoastal so we just stay on our side for the most part.  Was down in Myrtle Beach today and it was very busy.

We had 2 1/2 acres in NJ, Hunterdon County, where it took a good 10 minutes to get just about anywhere.  Great place to raise kids, but too pricey for retirement and too cold for my old bones.  We wanted to be close to the beach and have easier access to "stuff".  We are very happy here, learned the back way to most things, but yes do get tired of the tourists at times.  Small price for what we do have here and I can go to the beach whenever I want.  This is the view from our community cabana at the beach.

Make sure to post the "after" photo after the holiday weekend.

The more you clear glass you can see thru, the better the weekend. 🙂

Thanks. But that doesn't really help west coasters get to Europe. I received all their correspondence when they were shutting down international. It just didn't seem worthwhile to get into the minutiae on here.
