Beautiful sunny Saturday in Sydney. Jacarandas are in bloom right now Ship of the Day - Grand Princess. Let the summer cruising season begin. Photo from the platform from Circular Quay station. You can see how short the walk is to the OPT. Reason we always train it in for cruises that leave from the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Today, off to Bondi Beach. Photos later. Lovely photos. It is coming to pick us up next weekend. So is the museum to the left of the ship there @aussielozzie18 We are usually mesmerised by that fantastic view and sit down at one of the cafes, coffee in hand, just taking it all in.

It wasn’t too hot despite the appearance of this sculpture …. The idea behind this sculpture - a shell with feet - is to encourage people to walk more Look closely at this one for the lips & chin Beautiful colours Everyone of these New Zealand Statues were wearing a Māori necklace. Sculpture titled “protection” Being a regular lap swimmer, I think @dani negreanu will appreciate this one titled “The Swimmer” This was made entirely of plastic caps from plastic drink bottles 5 hours ago, aussielozzie18 said: A few more sculptures that appealed: Tamarama Beach below where the Sculpture Trail ended We managed to grab the last table at the cafe at the beach for a casual lunch to refuel before retracing our walk back to Bondi Beach. Amazing works of art. At first I thought the coffee was a sculpture. 🤔

I think it was you that posted a picture of a heated kitty bed. We want to get one for Chloe. Is this the one? What do you think about it? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HMVNJC2/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 Thanks, Renee. Yes, that is the same heated bed we got for Marcel. We first bought the sage colored one the same as in the link you provided. Marcel enjoyed it right away. We then bought a second one that is brown but identical to the sage one. It was priced less than the sage one, but I found no difference between the two. We put the brown one upstairs in his room, and kept the sage one downstairs in our living room because it is prettier. https://www.amazon.com/Pet-Products-3192-Thermo-Kitty-Heated/dp/B07HMVNXXS?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 After Marcel sleeps in it he gets out and plops down on the floor to cool off. After 5 or 10 minutes he often goes right back into the bed. It does not get hot to touch, but I put a folded bath towel in the bed anyway. After seeing how much Marcel liked it, my son bought the same bed for their two cats. Unfortunately, and neither one of them will lay in it.

Jimbo Posted October 21, 2023 #106112 Share Posted October 21, 2023 (edited) Another beautiful day here. The leaves are really peaking now. The below pictures are taken from the Clubhouse parking lot from the Golf Course where we live. Very pretty out. That is the ridge of mountains that follows behind our house that our sunroom looks out to. Here is 2 of tour cats getting ready for their naps. The night before is when it begins and builds with each successive step along the way. You guys are really making me miss cruising. Still 35 days to go for the Odyssey. Say, I do have a question for you, or for anyone who lives in your area. The house we rented, for our Christmas / New Year get away this year is up in Pompano Beach. We will have now stayed several places between here and Hollywood, but this is the farthest north. Do you have any restaurant recommendations up that way? We are always looking for new places to try, but we still like them to be kid friendly, since our grandkids will be with us. We typically have breakfast and lunch at the house, but like to take everyone out to dinner. I know the kids will want Bubba Gumps one night, Rustic Inn Crabhouse, and probably Benihana for NYE. Thanks for any recommendations you may have.

With the Island being small when we were growing up, we more than likely were in the same place at one time or another; High School basketball games, St. Patrick's Parades, Forest Avenue Bars, Demyans, and then there's the activities our kids may have been involved in. I grew up in Tompkinsville, and after I got married, I lived in Tottenville for 42 years.
