Just gorgeous.  Your day sounds delightful.  I wonder if my friend is your neighbor.  Initials are SP and his are KP originally from NY.  She's an interior designer and one of the nicest people!

We've been too busy/tired to cook and have been eating out or getting food delivered, so no pics.  I'll try to use words instead.  We went to one of our favorite local gourmet burger places (Flip Side Burgers) last night where I had a "Smokey Burger" washed down with a Logical Conclusion IPA from Threes Brewing in Brooklyn.  The Smokey Burger is a quarter pound (I think) patty topped with Smoked beef brisket tossed in bacon BBQ sauce / pickled jalapeno peppers / smoked gouda cheese / bacon BBQ sauce.  Tasty.

One of the reasons that I like Flip Side is that they are constantly rotating their beer selection.  I always end up with something different.  I'd never heard of Threes Brewing before but the Logical Conclusion was very good.

What a great low-cal selection................I wish that I was there with you. It was awhile ago but at the Cheesecake Factory I ordered the "artery clogger burger" - large burger, topped with macaroni & cheese, bacon, fried egg................OMG!!!!!

Nobody has posted any "What's for Dinner" pictures lately and I am really running out of ideas.

I will have dinner at "home" pics for tomorrow night.  😉   Three guesses as to what that might be.  😄

To start with, a chilled Sauvignon Blanc and either a Merlot or a Cabernet Sauvignon followed by lobster. 🍷🍷🦞

Yesterday was not a good day here.My daughter who lives very close to me came home from work early and decided to take her family puppy out for a walk.A few minutes into the walk 2 large dogs were running toward her and attacked the puppy.

It seemed to her like forever before she could grab her dog.She was screaming and the puppy was making noises that she never heard before.Neighbors came out and got the dogs away from her.She took her puppy in the house and then she and her husband brought the puppy to an Animal ER.They were there nearly 4 hours. The puppy is okay .My daughter is emotionally drained. She called my wife very early this morning to tell us .

What a terrifying experience but I'm glad they are ok. Before we got our puppy I researched doggy daycare so he would have socialization. I met with the owner, the trainers and the day care attendants while also observing for weeks. It was easier to send my kids to school. I watched ,from behind the glass, as my 4 month old, 40 pound puppy was attacked by a 200 pound Mastiff. The attendant was able to rescue him while I watched in horror. The Mastiff bit his leg so hard that it broke the bone in half.

After a couple of calls to "X" - they said NO BHV's were required and that guest that have been vaccinated can have "free flow" from the ship to the port. I believe that George got the same response. So our decision is not to apply for the BHV - we were not planning to leave the ship anyway.

Same here will not leave the ship for that port , the older I get the more I want to stay on the ship , but wife will definitely be shopping at the other ports.

I think that there is a lot of construction going on in the port area - another reason not to debark (not that I needed one)!!!!

Wednesday is a easy night for us , our favorite singer is playing at a upscale supper club , so a drink or two at the bar , then to our favorite reserved table , for a filet with a bottle of Cabernet.

I imagine we are the only ship ? Which will look totally strange.

OMG that is horrible to watch your puppy be attacked.     Was the owner of the 2 large dogs there to witness this or help stop them?

Glad to hear the puppy is okay and your Daughter.

I told Charlie, unless it is somewhere great (AC), it is too much work going anywhere.

My birthday is in July and yesterday I got mail from the casino near Aqueduct offering me $5 as an incentive to go there.

Prior to the pandemic they gave $10 and a pastry.

Sorry but I don't know them.    Yes, it has been great been here.      After my morning ride I worked online for a couple of hours assisting with some mortgage apps that came in for review/approval then I went back to the beach for 2 hours.     back on the deck for happy hour and a little work.    Everyone gets approved for their mortgage when it's Happy Hour!

It's going to be tough when we go back to our primary res end of June.

No,the owner was not there. My daughter said that the people have 3 dogs and she never walks the puppy past that house because the dogs bark very loud.Yesterday the dogs ran around the corner.

Neighbors reacted to my daughters screams .
