Thank you.

I think I have entered everything....All my "travel checklist" items are green except for "arrival & departure groups".......but

I don't see the "green box on top of the page, with a QR code once everything has been entered".....Should I at this point?

Did you click on confirm?  That will set your arrival group and send post a green QR code.  If #4 is not checked off...Then you need to try again.

Here's a screen shot:  286501054_Screenshot(5).thumb.png.c29ab0a631e441e2fc8aaa4933bd9412.png

Daniel I booted my laptop that has Windows on it and used MS Edge to go to princess.com

Once the page was fully rendered a few seconds later the green button for Chat was displayed.

For our family cruise in March I expect we'll be scattered all over the ship.  Theoretically we can use OceanCompass to locate everyone.  Has anyone actually used that function and how well does it work?

Yes we have used it.  You just put in what friends you want to share with and you can see where they are and just join them or vice versa.  I used it a lot.  Family

and friends and DH!  Lol

Excellent.  I already have everyone set up as Travel Companions.  Can't wait to suddenly pop up behind our granddaughters when they least expect it.  😄

Another app question.  MedallionPay.  This concept scares the crap out of me.  Has anyone used it in port shops?  Can it be disabled when ashore?

May have answered my own question.  As long as I don't set up MedallionPay Payment Methods for Shoreside it should be disabled.

Lol….I used it to surprise friends too!
it’s so nice to see them back in the room too.

Later in the day I will boot my hardly used Windows laptop and see what Edge does for me.

@Daniel Atry clicking on the small down arrow on the very bottom right in your picture.  It will change the ribbon.  I click this twice maybe three (?) times and the chat shows up.

Thanks for the suggestions, none have worked, but please don't put more effort into this.  I really don't need to use the chat feature at all.  I was just pointing out that not everybody gets the chat function displayed.  Again, thanks for the suggestions - this is why Cruise Critic Community works!

I wonder if the left hand knows what the right hand is doing...🤦‍♂️

Not a fair comment.  The reason for having the QR code is if you are picking up your medallion at the terminal and they need something to let you in since you don't print out boarding passes anymore.

That was it!  Thanks.  "Confirm" was nowhere on the screen....Had to scroll down.  I'm all green now thanks to you!

BTW, I hate this and this is no way to travel. IMO.

I think it was a fair comment.  Princess knew I ordered the medallions to be mailed to my home, that's how I was finally able to get to 'Green Lane' in the first place.  It would have been nice if they told us you don't need the QR code if you have the medallions, but they didn't do that either.  I wasted a lot of time learning how to print a hard copy of our QR codes from my tablet through my PC.  Princess wasted a lot of my time trying to do other things in their 'new and improved' app as well.  It was a fair comment.

The only "issue" is if, say, DH is toodling off to the casino and puts his medallion in a seat in the theatre during that time (where the enrichment lecture is); may make finding them a wee bit hard. 😂

He won't get much done in the Casino if his Medallion is in the Princess Theater.

Once again, the preboarding OM app experience is a gigantic screwup.

booked another B2B on Ruby, direct with Princess.  Second sailing shows up, first one doesn’t, says it’s already linked.

It’s a shame I don’t want to go back to work-work.   This is the kind of high-visibility stuff I love working on for executive sponsors.

Sorry you are having a bad experience with the pre-boarding app experience.  We had no issues at all with the last two experiences in November and late December and don't see a problem with our upcoming February booking.  All future bookings are installed through July and, again, with no issues.

I guess you can't blame the app entirely if it does work for most of us.

Are you on b2b’s?  Seems like BIG issues with b2b’s.  IT says they are working on it.  They work fine on the cruise personalizer, but always show up on the app.  Which is an issue if you want to use DMW or buy internet, etc.
