The folks in Michael's Club were the same faces as the folks dining in Luminae.

Did you keep a checklist with photos of Retreat Lounge guests and stay in Luminae from open until close? How could you possibly know this?

Yea, the folks staying in ICONIC, tend to keep a very low profile.

While I may not know everyone in Retreat because many dine at different hours than us,

all of us Zeniths know each other from Zenith Only events and we would know if a non-suite Zenith was in Retreat.

@Northern Auroraare a class act and doesn't deserve being snarked at.

I understand how you might know if someone wasn’t a Zenith, but how would you know if someone in the Retreat was in a Suite or a high tier in Blue Chip?

That I don't for sure as I've not even hit Pearl yet.

I know many Zenith's and they Know the other Blue Chips pretty well I guess word would spread and I would say all hell would break loose if Zenith's found out Blue Chips were allowed in and Zenith's weren't.  Both are a pretty small groups and often we know the hosts well enough to say--- oh are they Zenith's   or is So and So aboard.

I'm sure all the Zeniths know each other, but there's really no way for all the suite guests or Zeniths to know who the Blue Chip members are. It wasn't snark, I just felt the claim was baseless and responded accordingly.

My apologies to @Northern Aurora if they felt my response was out of line.

Many top tier Blue Chip members are Zeniths. In fact that’s the quickest way to get to Zenith. Most have their suites at no charge. However, they represent considerable revenue since the odds are with the house.

I disagree that all Zeniths know each other.  I'm Zenith and on my last few sailings there were other Zeniths onboard. I only know this because the shoreside concierge gave me this information.  I have no clue as to their identities.  I could have been sitting next to one of them in the theater for all I know!!

When I am in the Retreat Lounge, not only do I not know if the other folks in there are suite occupants, Zenith members or Blue Chip members, I personally don't care.

Yes on my last transatlantic on Reflection.if there wasn't the Zenith's party organized by the officers, I don't think I have met the rest of the Zeniths onboard.

My husband is Sapphire with BCC but we are only Elite Plus with Captain's Club. With a total of 97 cruises we certainly could have been Zenith but we cruise different lines and only recently started staying in Suite level cabins. My husband definitely gambles the cost of our cruise cabins and sometimes more depending if he's enjoying the casino.

I’d have to go with Northern Aurora on this one, who after all, just said they didn’t notice any.

In April we did a 15 day cruise, and by the end we knew the background, cruise history, and suite type of pretty much everybody that spent much time in the Retreat Lounge.  If there were any non-suite Zenith/BCC people there, they either kept quiet about it or didn’t visit often.

OK so on our last three cruises we have probably only eaten in Luminae on two or prehaps three occasions. We have however on all those cruises spent much of the evenings in Michaels/ the Retreat Lounge. We are not Blue Chip ,members and still a few hundred points shy of zenith.....

Where does that put us?

For someone who cruises as frequently as you do it would really be worthwhile to push through to Amethyst even if you don't enjoy gambling at all. The benefits and guaranteed free play more than make up for it. 25,000 points are easy to reach ($25k in slot play mean in the worst case ~ $2-3k in breakage if you don't win any jackpots). Easily wiped away up by the free cruises and free onboard cruise offers.

Does anyone know if Celebrity has reinstated Retreat Lounge Access for Sapphire and above tiers?

Unfortunately the answer to that is NO. And they aren't the least bit apologetic about it. Frustrating!

I am definitely not a high roller, but I just checked the Casino Club page to check out the benefits and it says certain levels of the Blue Chip Club do have VIP access to either Michael’s Club or the Retreat, whichever is applicable:
