Where is the suite concierge lounge located on the Caribbean Princess? Also in which dining room is the reserve collection dining?

Caribbean Princess is not a Royal Class ship so has no concierge lounge

That is what I thought but this confused me.

Yes, the Grand and Caribbean had concierges. They are the former loyalty and events managers (now called events officers). I have worked with 3 so far.

So a concierge but no concierge lounge, right?

I don’t consider them concierge’s and they do not have that title

We have not found a need for the Plus or Premium packages when sailing in a full suite on the Enchanted. In addition to the suite minibar set up, you can get lattes or cappuccino 24/7 in the concierge lounge, as well as bottled water. You can get specialty coffe and champagne/mimosas with suite breakfast in the Crown Grill, and just about any drink you wish from 5 to 7 in the Concierge lounge as complimentary.

I cannot help with ressies for Sanctuary, but if you do get an invitation to the GO Lounge, accept it and get there fairly early. The concierges in there will contact the shipboard concierge, who will make your reservations with the Sanctuary staff, and can also handle any specialty dining reservations you wish to make. Go Lounge will take your luggage, and they will also transport you to the pier (they will have a wheelchair waiting for you if you alert them to the need) and shepherd you very quickly through the security checkpoint and entry to the ship.

If you go directly to the pier, you will still have a quick embarkation process as there are special lanes for wheelchairs, no worries regarding that. But, that doesn't guarantee that you will make it in person to the Sanctuary to book a lounger. You might not have any difficulty securing the much more expensive cabana reservations for the duration of your cruise.

Hope this was of help to you.

What is the Go Lounge?  I have never heard of it.  Is it the same as the full suite priority boarding lounge in FLL?  I thought all full suite guests had access to this lounge without an invitation.  We have a wheelchair reserved at the pier (or so we thought). That being said, I am already in the Green Lane, but my friend has not yet been assigned a lane.  Will it be the Gray Lane even if she qualifies for Green?

Here is where I partially agree with you.

I have worked with Silviya (2xs) and Malory.  Both have provided me with concierge SERVICES.  They are Princess (junior) officers.  Their official title is Events & Guests Services Supervisor and wear white uniforms.  They are not Princess crew as are the concierges in the lounges.

BTW....on Grand/GEM class ships, they have invited suite passengers to a private Meet and Greet the officers cocktail party.  They told me it was a small compensation for not having a lounge.  It was a friendly gathering where the officers mingled with the passengers and you could actually have a sit down conversations with them.

The GO Lounge is only in Ft. Lauderdale, and it is not inside the port area, just outside by a couple of blocks. It is different from the Suite and Elite waiting area inside the port, after check in is complete (and it really doesn't exist anymore). There are wheelchairs at the pier for embarkation and disembarkation. If you are invited to the GO Lounge they will coordinate that for you.

If you have someone in your party using a wheelchair, do not worry about green lane or blue lane, there is a separate check in lane for mobility challenged passengers and you will want to stay together in that area. BUT, if you are in the GO Lounge, they will take care of coordinating everything, including retrieving a medallion that was to be picked up at check in, and bring it back to the GO Lounge for you. They will either bring a wheelchair to the GO Lounge or have one waiting at the pier when they take you over there. The GO Lounge team completely escorts you through to the gangway to the ship.

OP will have access to the Concierge's Lounge while on the Enchanted.  All Royal Class ships have them (Enchanted, Sky, Royal, Majestic, Regal, Discovery).

The Grand/GEM Class ships (Grand, Diamond, Sapphire, Crown, Ruby, Emerald, Caribbean) DO NOT have a Concierge's Lounge, but do have access to a Concierge who will assist you if you can not get something resolved from the Customer Service Counter.  S/he is available behind the scenes.  No office, but if you ask to speak to Concierge, they will get back to you.

Too be more specific: When I was in isolation, she tracked me down and asked if I needed anything.  I did not inform her of my situation.  After isolation, Silviya stopped by during breakfast in Sabatini's to see how I was doing.  We worked together on another cruise before the split.  So when I met her again, she gave me her direct extension.

I am only speaking from personal experience to those that may not be on a Royal Class ship.  I hope others will also benefit in knowing that they will have access to a Concierge (not readily advertised) when cruising on a Grand/GEM class ship.

I have been in a suite on the Emerald Princess several times.  The most recent was 1/23.  I was not aware of a Conceirge, I received no literature, or any introduction.  Maybe something new. I know there is not a lounge.

Yes.  Have been to "suite" parties on Crown, Emerald, Ruby, and Grand over the last year.  Usually in Adagio, or the One Five.  Lots of great snacks and drinks, with plenty of officers to mingle with.  Have always been contacted by the Events Officer by phone or in person and they offer any assistance necessary.  They do a great job.

The transition happened last summer (2023).  I only found out about it because I pursued the "rumor" (don't know if it was on CC).  I questioned Loyalty and Events Coordinators on the Diamond and the Grand.  They confirmed that the position would be separated sometime during the summer (like Princess, no announcement).

Loyalty position would be turned over to ONE (Future Cruise Department).  They would be in charge of Captain Circle concerns, Most Traveled Passenger luncheon, and anything else that involved "Loyalty" levels.

A new position would be created for the Loyalty and Events coordinator.  It would be an junior officer position and would handle weddings, Meet and Greets, etc.  IN ADDITION, this person would also be the concierge (concierge services) for suite passengers.

Of course....Princess would not announce this because it would benefit suite passengers without having any revenue. (aka sheldon cooper).

When I boarded the Caribbean Princess, I was fortunate to have the Loyalty and Events Coordinator from the Grand onboard.  We had already established a working relationship pre change over.  Silviya confirmed the transition.  We had several nice conversations.  She asked me if there was anything that I would really like done.  I joked about a few things and she said she would "look into my requests".  I had to tell her I was only pulling her leg.  She is the one that gave me her personal extension.  I did contact her directly a couple of times.

I am not suggesting that all Guest Services Managers (current title) will operate the same way as did Silviya and Malory.  I can only share my experiences with these two "concierges".

I did not test this out, but the officer was pretty clear to me that I would be charged regardless of which plan I had.

So it's not just the customer service people giving out misinformation. 🤣

The new Go Lounge also offers help with bookings for onboard. They can help you to book the sanctuary while you are there. This should give you a heads up over the people who run to get there when they get on the ship

Who gets invited to the Go Lounge?  Only suite pax?  All suite pax?  Or is there some other criteria?

Only suite passengers and not all of them.  I have no idea what the criteria is.

When y’all say Suites can order from the MDR..I assume that means only during “service” hours… (ie: “breakfast”, “lunch”, “dinner”)?

like..I couldn’t order off the normal dinner menu at 1am, right?

Correct. And I have always thought it was just for dinner. When you are confined to cabin due to Covid you can order from the MDR from any cabin but it must be during the hours the meal is a spin the MDR

You can also order breakfast from the MDR menu for that day (not Sabitini's menu).  Never tried to order lunch recently (did years ago but as we all know things have changed).  And we were not charged $5 for calling when on the "new" Plus plan.

Just a quick question here    What do you get wthl a Complimentary Mini-bar set up?

Usually 2 each of vodka, gin, dewars and a brandy but it can vary wildly from ship to ship and you can swap out what you want.  Also 2 cokes, 2 sprites, 2 water, 2 tonic, 2 sparkling water or club soda and 2 beers.  Everything is swapable.

You will also receive 2 bottles of water daily.  Some stewards start delivery first night.  Others wait until second day since there is water in the min-bar.  You can always ask for the first two bottles.  No sense "wasting" the 2 waters in the mini-bar (for trade).
