Couldn't agree more with you. Really found Maarten an excellent, entertaining CD, and would certainly cruise with him anytime

 

It's always interesting to hear/read the different reviews on CDs,

 

We had Maarten as a CD on a previous cruise and found him to be quite good & would be happy to cruise with him again,

 

It really would be a boring world if we all liked the same things/people,

Just off of the Silhouette March 12-19, 2017 Sailing.

Should I be expecting a major change in Silhouette 'Who's on board' for the TA n April 23.

We will be on Silhouette for the TA as well. The HD will be JP Lamb.

Going on Equinox in October...does anyone have that wonderful rundown of impt. staff?

I see that John is moving over to Eclipse for TA.

 

 

A lot can change in 7 months, I'd say there's a very good chance that officers onboard now could be completely changed by October!

Does anyone know what ship Activity Director Mark is on? We had him a few years ago on the Summit with John Grantham and he was great! Just found out we have John again on the Eclipse TA next month! Would sure love to see Mark again too!

:)Cot Michael Sympouras just came back on board the Eclipse after vacation. He is on our March 19th deep Southern Caribbean Sail. The next and the crossing.

Nice to have you back. He is the nicest captain I have ever met!!!

 

Am I missing something? Maybe who is the cruise director, but the Captain? Do some navigate better than others? Unless it is the Concordia captain, I hope I have nothing to worry about:D

 

 

We just had Captain Leo on our recent Eclipse cruise.

I have never noticed the Captain before but Captain Leo is not only out and about but extremely friendly (and not too bad looking ;) ), really engaging and really funny.

It might be a coincidence that we had a really "happy" crew (almost every crew person we interacted with all over the ship was friendly and unbelievably helpful - even those pool deck stewards that others have complained about - ours learned our names and preferences quickly and were always around!) but I don't think it was a coincidence at all.
