What is the change of catching an 8 AM flight?

I know this is probably a dumb question, but what the heck. What are the chances I can catch an 8 AM flight out of San Juan on Debarkation day? We're supposed to dock at 7. I have FTTF.

Since security wants you checking in 90 min ahead (IIRC), and most security lines are long on cruise-debarkation days in San Juan from what I hear, and the cruise port is not right across the street from the airport, I would say a zero % chance. I would feel queasy with 3 hrs!

No chance. Plus you have to go through the agricultural inspection and there's the baggage check cutoff time.

100% if you take the 8am flight the next day.

It can take up to an hour for the ship to clear customs and for them to allow pax to debark. Add another 30 minutes for CBP and 30 to get to the airport.

Order of debarkation is Self Assist Diamond, Platinum, Suites, FTTF. Then the same order for luggage. Took us a good 15 minutes to find our two pieces in San Juan. They were in the correct area and our luggage is a bit unusual.

I’m not sure you have cruised before, but the time a ship docks does not mean that is when guests can start disembarking. It has to be cleared and all ship accounts need to be taken care of first. And then it’s a free for all with all the passengers wanting to do self assist disembarking. They call by deck, but that doesn’t mean that people adhere to that.

And this is before you even get to the airport...

I had a 10:45 am on 2-17 and was sitting in the airport in Tampa at 9am. You might think about changing the time to later or sorry.......;p
