Freedom of the Seas drydock

Recommended Posts

I've heard a lot of good things about the Summerville Del Webb. Our Sun City is at 14,000 homes and I think they will build about 1,000 more. We are in two counties -- Beaufort and Jasper.

I don't know if I could do that big! I love DWC! I visit college friends in St Simon and my cousins from Cooperstown winter on Dataw Island, so I'm down in that area a lot!

I have no idea how to post from the webcam, but she is lit up in all her glory!

What time do y'all think she'll leave for Freeport?

She may be physically challenged slipping out of PC, but she'll come back home in all her glory!

What are the yellow lit balconys towards the rear?

Toward the rear or the front? (Left in the picture above) Those are just reflective surfaces below the cantilevered hot tubs. Not sure why they are there except to guess they cover up additional structural supports for the tubs.

The balconies under the hot tub have a different tint on the glass that is noticeable from outside the ship when the sun is at the right angle. I'm not sure why it's there.

Do drinks at the R Bar cost more than at other bars?

The same exact drinks should cost the same at the R Bar. However, there are many unique drinks at the R Bar that are not served elsewhere.

Its moving away from thedock now

you beat me to it, she is closing in on Fishlips. Great viewing. Marinetraffic.com also verifies her destination is Freeport, not that we had any doubt.

Nice to see R&M Ship Tec Group and Danish Decorating involved with the project as they did the original interior work and can keep the ship consistent with the original design. (from the great shots of the containers onboard as she left Port Canaveral)
