Oh wow, it worked. I didn't think it would since I've been on Rewards for 5 years and thought surely I would've used that code by now. Thank you.

I've had horrible luck with the spin game. After I don't know how many spins, I've only ever won 50 points. In the beginning, it only had ONE game over slot (or whatever it was) and it would always spin just fast enough to get back around to it or slow down perfectly to hit it. The last time I played, which has been a while, they added a second spot like that. We were supposed to be able to play that game once/day, but it didn't always show up for me. I think these games are a good idea, but in my experience, they're poorly executed. I mean, they'll give us codes that are worth 1k-5k points, but are stingy with the instant win points, c'mon. But now that I've seen some of you winning gift cards, I'm thinking it's just my terrible luck getting the best of me, as usual. LOL

I agree!  I was lucky and won some points and gift cards, but only after I made it a point to play every day and it was almost at the end of that game.  

 

With this new scratch game I have won a few points.  If I put those points towards the sweepstakes....isn't this how a gambling addition works??!!

I missed what happened, but back when I was a regular on the rest of the Carnival forum, BlerkOne was one of a small handful of users who started trouble with people all the time. If you do a member search, there's 5 different iterations of that username, BlerkOne being the primary. I assume the rest are his alternates. People like that are why I stopped frequenting the forum, it became such a toxic place. The same troublemakers day in & day out. They need to be permanently banned. It's a shame one of them has decided to start that crap in this thread, but let's hope we've seen the end of it.

If it weren't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. That's why I typically stay away from the casino. The most I've ever won (it wasn't on a cruise) was $17. LOL I worked on a riverboat casino once upon a time. I tell people the only way for me to walk away from a casino with their money was to work for them. 😜

 

Maybe that was my problem, I didn't play these games every day. I just don't think about it. I played the scratch & win a little while ago, and lost of course, but then it said that we're supposed to get 2 chances every day. It only game me one. They're very buggy.

 

**Correction: I went back to the scratch & win and it did let me play (lose) again. I thought the second chance would pop up automatically.

I totally get bad casino luck.  My husband and kids now all play the tables when we cruise (youngest was 19 on our last cruise, first time he was legal to play), they swear they can tell when I have even walked into the casino to meet them for dinner....

My 2 DDs (21 & 19) both tried roulette on our last cruise and had fun losing $25 each.  I was able to barely keep my nose above water so we came back two more nights.  The last night the DDs advised me on two specific numbers and we won!  I said "let's quit while we're ahead" and we went to the comedy club.  We had a blast!

Spin the Wheel is back!  Three chances this morning and like most times, I didn't win.  But the good news is that I believe my $5 BP gift card that I won about 2 weeks ago is in the mail today!  🙂

 

The good news about checking your Allstate Rewards every day is that even if you don't win on the games, as long as you sign in you do get the 50 points credited to your account.

My son got to play for the first time on our last one, too. He was excited...until he lost $50 on slots, realized it wasn't as exciting as he imagined, and said he'd never do it again.

I have never been able to get one of those points-only $5 gift cards that are advertised through the daily deal.

 

I tap the "Add to shopping cart" the moment it activates at 3:00pm and immediately get the message that all items are already in shopping carts.


I feel less slighted by losing the daily spin because you know that's a game of chance. But no where does it say that the gift card daily deal is limited quantities.
