MCC retired Posted May 7, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2018 Just a guess but uncertainty about interest rates direction and inflation could be the cause We also own CCL Stock and it is also taking a hit despite good results.

ColinIllinois Posted May 7, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 7, 2018 Who knows. Could just be some profit taking by institutional investors. The markets in general are not having a great time right now. January was great and then we get to early May and we're about back to beginning of the year levels.

Why the drop in stock price? That's pretty common for most stocks -- good expected earnings are usually factored into the stock price before the news hits, and after the announcement there's often a sell off as people take their profits. Anything specific for NCLH would have come out in their earnings call.

gerelmx Posted May 7, 2018 #12 Share Posted May 7, 2018 If the same phenomenon is happening in several Cruising companies, it is because the market is foreseeing that the profits are going down, because I dare to predict a lower demand for this type of vacation.
