Mr Wavelength -

If I recall from reading liner notes on English Invasion LP's from back in the day (ie Rolling Stones), isn't a "stone" about 14 lbs.? based on your above statement, I fear you are wasting away, without benefit of being in Margaritaville!  If cruise lines, including SS, are in fact going to adopt same food service as gas stations, perhaps there IS a new marketing opportunity - "Cruise with us and Starve!"   Lots of folks are looking to drop a few lbs/kilos, so this is bound to be a success!

They could even divert several ships for a photo opportunity. Imagine the marketing opportunity that could be had, bucking the common misconception that cruises make you fat when they photograph hundreds of people on deck on several ships all happily wasting away.

Be careful Davy – I can protect you from some things on Cruise Critic, but not from a fatwa.  😱

Brilliant HJB. I Wondered why there was no mention of the new weight loss programme on here.

I Apologise whilst not apologising for my lack of poor taste in my postings. Our lived experiences are very much part of the wonderful opportunities that we, as travellers of the world, are so fortunate to enjoy. The fact that some of them might be the wrong shade of green and appear at an inconvenient time in the middle of a show, in the middle of a dance floor on Egyptian night is only secondary to the experience that we all enjoyed. I Do sincerely regret that she never felt comfortable enough to lo leave her cabin again though.

Flights are going deviant too. Booking Emirates BC via Dubai but upgrading with points to a FC suite on the A380 which looks not too shabby. I Do Quite like the idea of a Caviar, Dom and Paradise breakfast. Anyway here are the tour details

Not to mention your personal escort from the aircraft door, the first class bus, and delivery to the First Class Lounge.

Why can't humanity be more like my labradors:

Labradors are so much easier than a disabled Jack Russell/ Lassa Apso, Shitsu cross that before long is going to end up tagged and on a register. My Bertie just won't head the warnings!

Love this picture and TTS' pictures.  Can't wait to pick up our pets tomorrow...

Just off the Silver Dawn on a 7 day Mediterranean cruise.  Loved it.  Good food, service and entertainment was really pretty decent.

Got a weak spot for Italian red wine, Italian people, and Italian food. Florence, however, seemed overwhelmed with tourists on our excursion there and I've no interest in returning.

France more complex, The French did not appreciate my grasp of their language, in spite of years of (required) study, not very Nice after all! Sete was good, enjoyed visiting the vineyards there.

ITA is a fine airline; in fact the business class lunch on our return flight was really delicious.

Too tired to add a photo but may do so tomorrow.

Recieved this from a friend in South Africa, I think it's the Cloud leaving East London?

But whatever that looked a rollercoaster of a ride.

Now that you mention it... Is this a new move by RCL to cut down on food costs?

I guess the ship was going too slowly for the stabilizers at the beginning.  We have had some amazing rolls when stabilizers had to be retracted due to speed.  I must admit, I love rough seas especially pitching.  I know this is not a popular belief!

Now that you mention it...perhaps they're also seeking to increase on-board revenue by boosting visits to the infirmary, sales of sea bands, etc.? 😁

Bon Voyage to those who left Yokohama on the Muse tonight. You will probably get to see cherry blossom at their peak in Hakodate so don’t feel bad if they are past their peak in southern Japan.

Good afternoon Cooler inmates.

Not suggestion these are “funnies” just food’ish.  🙂

Today was our first oysters of the year.  Scrawny and small so a couple of dozen all shucked bloodlessly by me and supported by some lovely ficelle and Laurent Perrier Blanc de Blanc ie the absolutely original non sugar dosed but naturally sparkling champers.

It was lovely to have a slow going lunch today with my extraordinary long-suffering partner in crime. These piccies are of eatings and empties.

Have a great day all Coolers. 🙂
