Looking forward to your live review as we will be on her in September. Were you happy with your hotel? (Cadet Hotel) as we are looking for a South Beach hotel. Thanks
Nice hotel, quiet. We really just wanted it for a night's sleep. Small room. Helpful staff.

In Miami we will be staying at the Cadet Hotel. It small but it's not too far, was reasonably priced and there looks to be some good eating places close by

We are following along on your cruise, since we sail on Symphony in 3 weeks.....although we are doing the Western Caribbean, I am more interested in your enjoyment of the ship.  I think your hotel looks marvelous and so quaint.  We have no need for a hotel, since we live in S. Florida, but hope it was a nice experience so I can recommend it to people who might need one.

How was the food? Any issues getting a table or waiting in crazy line?
We made the mistake of waiting till 12 so we're had to wander awhile looking for a table. No crazy lines. Food is standard Windjammer

Loved following your Ovation trip - looking forward to following along this time too.

One of the first questions that popped into my head was "I wonder how many pairs of shoes Marie brought on this trip?" :classic_biggrin:

Have a great time!  Happy Birthday to you!

Marie, a woman after my own heart. :classic_biggrin:

Nice pictures on the balcony.  Good to see you out from behind the camera.  Love the big smiles!  Have fun!

Finishing off the day. We went to Hooked Seafood tonight for dinner. Really, really good meal. Lots of fresh seafood. Started with a salad, followed by drunken mussels and raw oysters. For dinner Marie had the platter which was lobster, shrimp and salmon. I had surf and turf, medium rare on the steak. Boston creme pie and whoopie pie for dessert..

Bill, and for anyone else onboard, the Meet & Mingle is today (Day 2) at 1:30pm at Dazzles.

Loved your photos of Hooked.  It is on my “to do” list.

Tell Marie I also brought 8.

What time do you normally go to the Schooner Bar?

Happy Birthday!!
