Elite benefits for Elite traveling solo

Just wondering if I trade in my minibar for coffee card will I get 15 or 30 coffees added to my cruise card. Also how would the minutes for WiFi work since I’m paying double occupancy. Not a problem if only 15 coffees or single minutes but I wondered how this would work.

Thanks

Jackie

You only get (1) Platinum/Elite minutes allocated to you. You do not get double.

I don't drink coffee so never tried this.

30 coffees..

2- cards when trading in the entire mini bar, whether solo or 2 elites

I can only state what I actually got .... but then that's the ship that hasn't removed the barrel chair or round table so it might be different all around ...

Love the Star Princess & Captain Michele Tuvo

Congratulations on the coveted barrel chair.  You should feel so lucky!  😂

The OP mentioned the coffee card which no longer exists.  Instead they put a credit on your cruise card and if you do not drink all the coffee before the cruise ends, the credit will disappear.  Since once onboard you have to sign into the ship's access to the internet using your folio number and personal information, I would expect you will get only one elite internet minutes.

Upside of this is that you will get two credits instead of one for the cruise.

I am a solo who got 15 specialty coffees unlimited drip (yuck) / tea / cocoa on my last cruise (March 2019). Would love to read a post from another solo who got 30 and how they did it.

Also just got 250 minutes.

I'm willing to wager that the phrase "coffee card" will still be around in 5 years. What are we supposed to call it? Coffee package? Coffee credit?

Just doesn't have the same ring.

I trade my Minibar setup in for two coffee cards.

Good for 15 coffees each.

Thus, a total of 30

Are you a solo? If so, I'll let them know next time that I'm entitled to 2

Yes, I travel Solo.

I always received two coffee cards when I exchanged my mini bar.

My last Cruise was last April; maybe things have changed.

My next cruise is in Dec.; so I will find out if Princess changed things.

My dad is elite and my sister is ruby.  When they shared a cabin, he traded in his mini-bar for the coffee package.  He got 15 coffees and he gave 15 to my sister.  He could have had all 30 put on his card, but he wanted to share with her.  This was on the Grand Princess last September.

Solo....

Mimi bar same set up... trade for 30 coffees

Internet..Only minutes for one (even when we have to pay double)

Only thing we save is...pay only one port tax

and only pay tips for one

1 mini bar set up whether solo or double elite equals trade for 2 coffee cards, added to cruise card.

internet minutes each elite member gets the allocated amount,  2 Elites each get their own, 1 elite you get your amount.  Sometimes even if 2 Elites, both female, you will receive only 1 upgraded amenities pack, little yellow bag per cabin, unless you are like my daughter who insisted on one each, lol.

We just got off the Royal yesterday, and when we purchased it they called it "coffee card" on the receipt.
