Diamond Plus Onboard Amenity - Towel?

We are sailing on our first cruise since turning Diamond Plus on March 1.  I just called C&A and requested we get the towel as our amenity.  Does anyone have a picture of the towel they give?  Is it half decent or should I call back and request a bottle of wine instead?  I am already second guessing myself. 🤣

I don’t have a picture but it’s pretty decent.  Similar to a beach towel you would find at bed bath or target.  We get them now as we purchase the drink package so a bottle of wine isn’t needed.

A towel will last longer than the wine!  Probably better quality...stop second guessing!

We have not been getting drink packages lately as we  get free drinks in the casino but  I do have the drink package for this cruise as I lucked into the $18 Glitch and how could I pass that up?  
 

I usually end up with a bottle of champagne from the casino anyway.  From what I understand, I can switch the amenity from towel to champagne at any time for future cruises so we will see how it goes after this first sailing.
 

For this cruise, my husband, son, and I are all in separate staterooms.  Does that mean we will get 3 towels?

Best of luck getting the towel....We have had it (remains) on our list since becoming D+ several years ago and have never gotten one. They always tend to give us some other random gift that we've never asked for.

When I have requested the towel, I have received the towel.

we have got 2 towels and 2 tote bags at the 340+ point level over many cruises. We have never had a problem with getting the correct gift.

Mid 200s point level. No towel x2. One time individual serving wine bottle instead of 750ml wine bottle. Multiple times red wine substituted for white. It is free so I don't get too bothered. ymmv.

We have gotten the towel for all of our recent cruises. When husband and I are in the same cabin, we get one. The time we were in separate cabins, each of us received one.

I had the towels for my 3rd gift choice since we get 3 gifts on a 7 night cruise now.  Got the towels and they are actually really nice.  Don't need anymore as I have tons of beach towels, so changed my 3rd option for our April Freedom cruise to something else.  My 1st and 2nd choices are always champagne.

You have to call now.  It is part of the enhancements to the website....

If we get three this time, I will try to get one more on our next sailing then switch to something else.  It will be nice to have a set of 4.  Or I can just keep getting them and squirrel them away.

 

I am thinking my son will not get one this time.  When I called yesterday to set our amenity preferences, I could not do his as he is only 17 and does not turn 18 until the day we sail - March 1.  The document says you have to make requests at least 10 days prior to sailing so I am thinking he will either get nothing or I will have to ask the Loyalty Ambassador.  He is in a room alone with his 21 year old cousin who has no status.
