🎵oops, I did it again🎵. Adventure here we come!

Using Andy’s casino certificate we were able to book a promenade room at a ridiculously low cost to us.  I just couldn’t do an interior (even though promenade’s are interior) down on Deck 2 or 3.  We will be on Deck 8.  I’ll miss the balcony but following on the heels of our family August trip and the Med trip, it just wasn’t in the budget.  Next up is booking Beach Club and JVD.

Welcome aboard. Kind of like a mini Bella reunion. I will be doing a “As if Live” only because the internet is never reliable enough and I’ll be doing a lot of photos and videos. We are going to have a blast.

Since we are highlighting Lee G’s song, here is a video I did a couple years ago using our local 4th of July fireworks.   I used that song as background.

Consider this as an early 4th preview.  After all, it is only a month away.

Awesome fireworks.  One quibble: I noticed that the Executive Producer,  Director and Casting gave credit to the Costume Designer (?) but not the Voice Over Artist. What gives, are you using non-union workers, 😉😂

Name of Tiki bar and your wife’s favorite pizza place, please.

The tiki bar is Sliders where Sadler Road meets the beach.  Micheline's favorite pizza is Coastal Pizza in the same shopping plaza as Publix, around the corner facing 14th.  I mentioned V Pizza (on Sadler) which I like.  They're a small chain with 10 locations that make Naples style pizza in Italian brick ovens.  We'll also sometimes go to First Love Brewing for beer/wine/pizza.  Their pizza can be hit or miss but I like their beer.  Some people think that Townies (in front of Walmart) is the best pizza on the island.

That sounds like a really nice retirement kinda day.

I was thinking just that.  While working, I never would have spent a day like that.  It would have felt like a waste of precious time off.  Now, it's a relaxing, enjoyable day.

Thanks!  I thought that might be Sliders.  We went there frequently when we’d rent condos.  I’ll try Coastal Pizza!  Always looking for good pizza!!

Jim and I did a Promenade room on I think it was Independence of the Seas.  I loved it!  I loved that it has 2 love seats in it, so that we and our friends could each sit on a couch and have a drink or two before heading out to dinner.  I don't remember what room we were in, but the bar on the deck below us had a window that we could see a little of the ocean through from our room.  When we were booking our NE/Canada cruise on Adventure, I had wanted another Promenade room. but my TA told me we could have a  balcony for the same price.  The Promenade room is just slightly smaller...no biggie...as I said, I loved it.

I just got an email saying I bought something and was charged on my Paypal account. I tried to call to cancel, and got suspicious and hung up when I was told to goto a website that presented a .exe file they wanted me to execute.  Called Paypal and when I described the email, they  knew the phone number as a fraud, and there was no charge on my card.

That's scary and it seems to be happening more and more. Good job being suspicious and calling.

We get spam e-mails and spam phone calls every day.It was so much better before the internet age.

My phone flags spam calls.  Out of area calls do not get answered. If it is legit, they will leave a message. I still have a Ct area code, I get a lot of calls showing that area code, and I have a lot of those blocked.

Our phones have a voice activation .We hear as well as see the numbers. We never answer and we have a generic voice mail message.

Many people say something like you have reached John and Mary Smith. We are not home now. That is what the scammers want.

Never open an .exe file unless you are very sure about what you are doing. It can be like unleashing the forces of he!!.

Yes and also don't open any links from people you don't know and even be suspicious of links from people pretending to be people you know. I know my friends pretty well. I can tell if something is off just in how they what a email or message to me.
