How didn’t we not talk about this last year??  My sister’s first house was in Clinton and then she bought a house in Califon which is where she moved to NC from.

Will just have to catch up next year

Knee update.

Met with surgeon today, he thinks I have hit my plateau on knee bend. I’m at 115 degrees which is about what I’ve been at for several weeks. My other knee is at 120 degrees. He thinks it’s time to quit therapy and just work on my own. He also thinks with time my bend will improve. So Friday will be my last day.

Now it’s time to focus on prostate. I have an appointment with urologist next week. Did my labs yesterday and my PSA number was 6.16 which is lower than my last test but I’m sure my urologist will want to do a biopsy which I’m not looking forward to. One thing at a time.

It's no fun getting older. That's about what my hand therapist said to me. Bye. Today is my skin scan for skin cancer. Let's hope anything she finds can be frozen and doesn't need to be cut out.

Yes I agree. Good luck on your scan today.

Actually, she would love her hairdresser to deliver her coffee.  She is always worrying about how her hair looks!

Having a hairdresser that served you coffee would be a shear delight.   😆

What a great cruise.

Be safe.

The ship seems vacant without our family with us.

So I'm taking a solo land trip in May to Hilton Head SC to see my best friend since high school with 7 other close friends from high school. We will be celebrating our 50th next year so we thought we would get the party started early.

My best friend Dave has been a long time solo entertainer at the Salty Dog Cafe in Hilton Head. He is an amazing musician and can play and sing hundreds of songs. He and I played together in high school and I was always amazed how good he was. The fact that he's been a professional musician for over 50 years is incredible.

I know some of you have been to Hilton Head so if you have any recommendations of things to do or see let me know. Also I am flying into Savanah so if there is anything interesting to see there let me know also.

Thanks!

I wonder if they will get mad at me for wearing a Sea Dog shirt instead of a Salty Dog shirt? 😉

That’s horrible he was let out early and didn’t even apologize until being sentenced. I think he only did it then to try to get a lesser sentence, no remorse for what happened. Sounds like he’s been given a silver spoon all his life. The below statement just proves it when he had practically no experience and only got the job because of his father. SMH. I hope the KC Chiefs had to pay out big $$$$$$$. So sad for the little girl.

“Britt Reid didn’t get to be the Chiefs linebackers coach because he was qualified for such a coveted position — NFL assistant is a top 1 percent of all coaching jobs. Britt’s only outside “professional” experience was as a graduate assistant at Temple from 2011-12.”

Remember it quite well back in 2012 when Any Reid was the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles his son Garret Reid(29) was found dead at training camp of an overdose of Heroin.

Some of Andy's 5 children never adjusted very well to the surroundings around them and all the time their Father was away from their home. Some kids just handle that different. It's a real shame how tough it has actually been for that family outside of the lime life of football.

Still Andy's favorite saying back then was the same as it is today. " I got to do a better job"  For some of his kids it never happened. 😞

Couldn't help but laugh, as if you lived here in Kansas City you would know everything about Travis and his brother Jason. I have had the pleasure of covering Travis career for many years. We know each each other and he has always been great with me. Great guy.

The only time I watched NFL football was when Jay Fiedler ,son of my childhood friend Kenny played for the Jets and other teams that were televised .That was way before the Kielce brothers.

Did you see the Documentary ?

Today is the last day of our 2024 winter escape.  Enjoying a poolside cocktail at Disney’s Old Key West resort where we’ve been since disembarking Adventure of the Seas on 3/9.
We had a 4 nighter on Allure, then went S2S over to Adventure for 8 nights where we were joined by @jmh2006 Jennifer. We had a great time together, enjoying our nightly Caipirinha’s, Mojito’s and/or Malibu & Diet Coke at Boleros.  We were not allowed in the Crown Lounge in the evenings, so we just moved our fun elsewhere!  We had a couple of very windy sea days but nice weather otherwise. Ports were Labadee, Bonaire and Aruba, the last two being firsts for Andy & I. On Bonaire, we rented a golf cart and all agreed this was the highlight of the trip. What a beautiful island!  Aruba was a taxi to Eagle Beach for a nice relaxing day.  A few photos:

We learned a couple of things this trip.

- 12 nights cruising is a little too much for us. 8-10 is probably the sweet spot.
- we don’t care for the four nighters.
- never come to Disney during both spring break and Cheer week!

I hope to do a better job of keeping up now that I won’t have so much going on. Lounging around in beach and pool chairs is exhausting!

Here is your friend from Sept 2022. How time flys.

Before HH we spent a little time in Savanah.  We went to Forsyth Park. I think it is worth visiting.

Do you know where you will be staying? Our friends invited us to their time share.  We rode bikes to many places.

Keep your eye out.

One place we rode to several times was Harbour Town.   I think that is what its called.

We rode to a place that had animals on display.

We went out once to see dolphins.

I enjoyed the view as much if not more than the dolphins.  We went all the way to the main bridge.

We also brought a cooler and got shrimp to bring home!  There is much more to do in HH.  I am sure you will have fun!
