Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

Recommended Posts

@Arzeena Thank you !

We live in a small town on Eastern Long Island. The area has farms, wineries and beaches. Peconic Bay is to the South and the Long Island Sound is to the North.

I realize that the photos posted close together.

Does anyone have advice as to how to post photos with a space in between?

After loading one photo place your curser just below it then tap the "RETURN" button a couple of times and then load your next photo. This should provide spacing in between them.

Do you live near Montauk or Orient Point? If so I can see you from home when there is no haze on the horizon.

@seadog

"Thank you for what you do and your experiences. I’m hoping the nerve block will help with Linda’s back as she has been in so much pain. How long do you think she will have relief?"

In response to your text---------------------------------------------

Pain relief duration often depends on the cause of the initial pain, or injury. Some blocks can last as much as 6 months.  Commonly though 4 months.

Best of luck.

@Ocean Boy We are on the North Fork, Orient Point is about thirty miles East of us.

We have been to RI several times, namely Newport and also Block Island. With the ferry from Orient Point, it is an easy trip to your state.

Thank you for the photo posting info.

It is my  understanding that I should post one photo at a time, using the Return between each post.

A little food porn from last night’s delayed celebration with the grandkids.

Filet, bacon ranch potatoes, grilled veggies, and honey crisp salad.

This doesn’t help with losing the extra cruise weight.

That’s why I had a small piece.

No, you aren't the only one.  I take mine wherever I go. Nothing gets between me and my down pillow.

We often bring our own pillow cases but not pillows.

It is 46°F and sunny here in North East England.

Our tree man made his annual visit today to cut/Shape our large conifers in our back garden.

We just finished our breakfast and going to head to library/computer area to try laptop now.🤞

Yesterday we passed voom help desk and head IT guy recognized us and asked how we are doing.   He then called us aside and told us he felt bad for all our problems with vPN in Jan and asked us for cabin number so he can give us free surf and stream for this cruise.  We bought 2 device pkg months ago but he said he will credit our acct.   So that is really nice, hopefully it works.

That’s what I love about Royal employees. They do remember you and will take care of you. That’s great that they did that.

@Sunshine3601  How did the newbie's handle their first  night on a cruise ship? It's always fun showing newbie's around the ship. It almost feel likes you are taking your first cruise too when showing other people things around the ship.

I have not yet seen them this morning.    Eric and I were up at 6 am and got our coffee, did some walking laps, got breakfast at WJ and working in Library/computer room on laptop.

Happy to say All is good with VPN.    We are flying through some work this morning.

Just attended the top tier event in 270 and here is the count for this sailing:

3281 passengers consisting of:

1529 First time cruisers (Wow!)

301 Diamond

219 Diamond +

and I think he said 33 Pinnacles

Is that team really St Peters Peacocks?

There has to be a story behind that name.
I just Googled it. The peacock in pagan terminology is similar to a Phoenix…rebirth, rising from the ashes.
St Peters closed down in the early 1900’s, but reopened.
Pretty tame explanation!!

I was in Dallas last week for work, so I skipped out Thursday and went to Fort Worth, and the first round games of Baylor vs Norfolk State, and my UNC Tar Heels against Marquette.  I would have had a heart attack if I had stayed for the Saturday Baylor UNC game.  Instead I spent the afternoon at Best Buy getting my mother-in-law a new phone because she broke hers again.  I am wearing a Tar Heel sweatshirt.  The silly geek behind the counter immediately says UNC is playing great.  I replied I don’t want to know.  For the next 3 hours, people would want to talk to me about the game.  Sigh…. We got home and watched the game, OMG.

I was so stressed out even though I knew the result watching that insanity.

I assume the 240 in the description is 240V version, and you definitely want that and not the 120V version.

I don’t see the stress level going down soon.  Looking at the bracket UNC has a great chance to make it to the final 4.  My Razorbacks are not playing good on offense but hanging in there.  Their bracket still has the 4 top seeds.

I like seeing the first time cruisers numbers up.  Did you ever get the sunrise pic?  I like your towel buddy but it looks like it’s hogging your pillow.  😂.  Sounds like you have done a lot already today.

Next up for St.Peters..................Purdue BoilerMakers the # 2 seed

Dang looking at the Arizona game right now, wow they have some huge guys, looks like an NBA team. Tight game with TCU though. Couple minutes to go 1pt lead for TCU.........Another # 1 may fall.

I think that St.Peters has a great chance to beat Purdue. They would have had a difficult chance to beat teams like Auburn,Duke and NC.

A guy who I knew in HS played basketball for UNC.He was a pretty good player that you might have heard of.His name is Billy Cunningham.

UNC has a great chance to go all the way, however,my pick has been Gonzaga.I would not mind seeing St.Peters in the final 4.
