My contribution to "food porn" Alaska style....More fresh Halibut on the grill.  On the Homer "Spit" Kachemak Bay fresh oysters  (which hate to say it, but have Apalachicola all beat to heck.  😉

I wish I could post a photo or two but unfortunately it would only come to my tired face and some crazy children running around the house. I like it how some of you guys could get away to Vegas and other cool places. I wish I could travel at least somewhere for awhile and stay there by myself and just enjoy the solitude

I have seen cotton harvested on TV but have not that much about peanuts. I could go for some right now.  I tried coke and peanuts one time, not that sure about it.

The model scale tractor and bailer is amazing.  A lot of work went into that. I would have enjoyed that.

When we bought the house last year the peanuts were where the cotton is this year and they were harvesting the day we toured the house. We didn't really have time to watch but this year we will be able to.  My husband's hobby is restoring farm equipment so he is super interested.  He thought the bailer was very nice.  Once all this is over and if you are really interested in seeing this type of stuff Rollag MN has a huge tractor show Labor Day weekend.  It was canceled this year.  It is so big there is a train that takes people around the exhibits.

I am fairly certain I have seen videos this show on YouTube.  Canada’s largest outdoor farm show is 30 minutes  from our place but I doubt it would compare. I’d like to go Rollag and Oshkosh for their air show. Bucket list stops one day.

it makes me very sad. I do not think Vegas can survive...as we know it anyway

The casinos for locals are actually doing o.k..  It's the mega resorts on the strip that depend on air travel that are struggling.

????

What is this?

Show series, what site?

Thank you

See post #980. M8 answered your questions.  I've programmed my DVR (Direct TV channel 387) to record all new episodes. We watch them later. They aren't new (we haven't seen them), but fun to watch and reminisce.
