I have subscribed several times but don’t get notices and rely on this thread to know when new opportunities come up

I meant subscribe to this thread and cruise critic will inform you when there is a new opportunity, saves you having to keep coming here and checking.
I could be wrong, but I assume as you missed this one, you were not subscribed to this thread.

Hmmphhhh, a new webinar but why would I watch it with no incentive power up points attached?

What it the subject? I don't get Captains Club emails anymore because once their crappy system stops sending CC emails their incompetent IT can't or won't restart them.

Me either. I get marketing emails but not Captains Club. I emailed them and asked to have this fixed, they said the did and still nothing.

Where do you see a Webinar? All I see is a 30 second promotional video on the Captains Club page.

In the email it’s the last word in the second paragraph before the video

Thank you; unfortunately, like many others here, I do not get their emails (despite 10 + years of sailing with them, Elite status, multiple emails and sign-ups, etc.).

Hi, Cheryl!  Long time since I have seen a post from you--15 years?  Are you still doing river cruises?

David

Hello David and family!
We are still traveling, we loved our med cruise  the most though!

I bet you family is grown and traveling on their own.  Hello to all.

Cheryl,

Hi.  That Med cruise was the best!  Yes, our two adult kids no longer find free cruises with their parents to be attractive because of their limited vacation time and other interests.  Oh, well.  Our Galapagos cruise this past Nov became 50% less expensive!

I missed out because I was on a celebrity cruise…😢

I don’t think we should be penalised and miss out for being on a Celebrity Cruise -(often with poor wifi to complete a webinar). Surely a visit to the Captains Club on board should be able to get you the points or at least an extension to complete each webinar if on board.

Don’t panic, there are no points for this webinar.

The Captains Club Concierge doesn’t have much authority in these situations.

Yup. I've missed four webinars while onboard Celebrity cruises. While it is frustrating, I really can't complain about being on a cruise, and I was still earning other points the old fashioned way.

I can't imagine ever making Zenith, anyway, but I still do the PUP activities when I can.

So when can we expect more Power up points? Is Celebrity ready to release new itineraries? Is there a new ship to talk about?

More likely we'll see a webinar about how Celebrity will continue to charge more for fewer features because "our passengers requested it".

Celebrity is dropping two Galapagos ships, but I don’t think we’ll see a power up webinar with that news, and meanwhile there are three points for the last webinar due in the next few days

They kinda indirectly announced it during their June Galapagos webinar which we all are waiting to get our points for.    The webinar marketed Flora only and the other two ships were not mentioned--not even in passing.

Have either of you heard that?  Or is it just conjecture?  What are you basing it on?
