pstone1 Posted October 1, 2020 #26 Share Posted October 1, 2020 We have a cruise booked the first week of November. Do others who received the survey also have a November cruise?

Exactly what I thought! Why would insurance pay for frequent tests, especially if there are no symptoms.

Not only with no symptoms, but with no medical reason to take the test (i.e. no exposure or any expectation that the result may be positive) I can see multiple tests being covered for incidents of possible exposure, but not for a cruise. I didn't have a good feeling about having to go see a doctor to get permission to cruise when the over 70 thing was happening and I'm not crazy about having to see a healthcare person to get a test before my vacation either.

edspec Posted October 1, 2020 #33 Share Posted October 1, 2020 I took the Qualtrics survey, but didn't feel it was well written. I would be happy to take the Covid saliva test and pay for it oop, but the survey only asked about the nasal swab. It also didn't give the option for multiple trips of the same type for next year. julesbeara Posted October 1, 2020 #35 Share Posted October 1, 2020 I got it and completed it, with the exception of giving them my martial status, income & political affiliation. None of their business.
lakelorain Posted October 1, 2020 #36 Share Posted October 1, 2020 I also received this survey which asked about all types of vacations. It did not ask my political affiliation or marital status.
lovelife Posted October 1, 2020 #37 Share Posted October 1, 2020 I received it and promptly deleted it.
reallyitsmema Posted October 1, 2020 #38 Share Posted October 1, 2020 I got it but haven't taken it yet. Based on the questions some have posted, I likely won't take it.
taznremmy Posted October 1, 2020 #39 Share Posted October 1, 2020 Based on the questions, I would be curious as to who is paying for this survey to be conducted.

Does seem like a coincidence rcl suggests a covid test 1 to 5 days before and this survey asked about same range. .. and rcl forums is where people are reporting they got it. Btw i sure wanted to borrow your crystal ball thingee ... someone wanted to know about their jan 2nd cruise. Its fitting a lot of answers these days. I also do not consider undecided as a generic answer to the political question as I am not undecided. I will pass.

No coincidence at all, Royal Caribbean has used Qualtrics in the past for surveys.
HicksRA Posted October 1, 2020 #47 Share Posted October 1, 2020 Based on the number of people in this forum receiving the survey, it’s pretty obvious it came from either Royal or Cruise Critic.

ShakyBeef Posted October 2, 2020 #50 Share Posted October 2, 2020 I got the survey yesterday. Ignored it because it looked like SPAM. Even knowing it is legit, I'm not going to take it. I had a November 2020 cruise booked, but Lift-and-Shifted it to November 2021.
