Cannot check in on the app or through the website. I check both places daily. Are you on the Roll Call for this cruise? canderson Posted October 7, 2021 #4 Share Posted October 7, 2021 All of the "restart" cruises (those sailing with pax for the first time since the shutdown) have had delays in check-in dates. Reflection and Constellation will be the last two of these until 2022. Just going to have to be patient. Still waiting for Celebrity to notify us of the itinerary changes. In question at the moment are Key West and Grand Cayman. I'd say just check at least once every day or two, and when it shows, get it done while it's there! 🤪 Some of this might be from trying to get the app to work better with the webpage or vice versa. We are 45 days out. Cannot complete online so I called X and was transferred to 4 different departments, 1 of them was very rude, not knowing anything. Finally, I was told that IT has had a problem with website, imagine that. I was told maybe at some point today online check-in may work, not for sure. Also, they still have no idea concerning the itinerary, representative told the present itinerary is still correct, even though we all know, except X that Grand Cayman is closed until 2022. Well, I for one, understand the reason you are upset, YET will be the first to offer up that you will be on the ship soon rather you check-in in advance or at the pier. As such being upset may not be the best use of your energy, now. It has been recommended checking the app or online regularly to find out if available, otherwise one may want to concentrate on keeping healthy so that C-19 test does not interfere with boarding... As others have indicated, a few check-in's were or are delayed until the itinerary can be finalized, so X does know about the Cayman Islands being off limits, yet X still needs to figure out what and where the substitute will be and include that as accurately as possible. 45 days out is not a long time, yet there are quite a few posters here who have to wait until 30 or fewer days to check-in on the app or online. When direct info has been made available, it has been made clear that anything further out than 30 days definitely wasn't going to happen for these early Constellation and Reflection cruises. 45? I had the same issue on the first page link and I had more luck in the reservation. In Manage reservation then the tab that says "Before you Board" and then at the bottom is "Mail Me Luggage Tags". I know that a lot of people have ordered the luggage tags for our October 29 sailing on the Equinox, back about 9 days ago, and I haven't heard anyone getting them yet. Some of the people I know are in Florida and usually get them fast. Someone spoke to an agent at Celebrity about a different issue and they said they aren't sending them anymore. I know from that other thread that some people have still been getting their mailed ones, but I'm wondering if they really are starting to stop sending them? If so, they should really remove the link to have them mailed! In any event, I ordered just in case, but I'm in Canada and lately they haven't been showing up until after our cruise. Your recommendation for using the one in the far bottom left of the Manage / Before You Board page works. Not intuitive, though. You have to select a country first (in the field in the far lower right, which has no descriptor like "Country"), then go back up one field to select Province/State. What's weird is that they list tons of countries, but only mail to USA/Canada. Will see if they arrive before we depart! I had already completed online checkin for our Edge November 28 cruise. Now the app and website say “Checkin is unavailable at this time.” I check periodically. I read they are not mailing luggage tags but I wanted to see what would happen. It took all of my information but the country drop down window was not working. This is a very long and detailed document. At the very end there is one luggage tag to print. Obviously you can make more copies. My document shows prepaid gratuities but does not show my drink package or my onboard credit. When the website was working in the past, it showed my onboard credit and allowed me to book a dinner. LadyBerard Posted October 8, 2021 #21 Share Posted October 8, 2021 I printed out my email confirmations which I received when I upgraded to "drinks and more" and I also printed out that I prepaid for $50 casino credit for my husband and an entry into the blackjack tournament to take with me. My excursion in Belize got canceled, so I now have more $ in OBCs to use. I'm thinking we won't be going to Belize, as I have friends who had a different shore excursion booked and theirs got canceled today. I'm trying to be patient so I know where we are going and when we can do check-in. I arranged private transportation to the pier today, but I put down pickup time from our hotel at 11:30 a.m., even though I don't know what time we can get check-in on the ship. If you are in a suite, they have a special check-in line at the port for suite guests. You just get in that line and they take you through a separate door to the ship.
