$46,439 per person for a 9-night Southern Caribbean cruise has to be a typo, right?

The OP could pay the minimum deposit and, for a period of time, feel like royalty (or an owner of Berkshire shares).

Only $900 deposit on a $46K trip?  If one could afford the IS at that price and had to cancel,  forfeiting the deposit is loose change.

l - I strongly hinted that I would have enjoyed visiting them to see it and the self-invite was politely declined! LOL

These people were so very low-keyed and un-assuming around me and I understood their desire for privacy and not making any new friends outside of the activity we were involved in.

Are you taking one out on one of the 52 night segments??

bon voyage

For the last segment in NZ we are.  Three years now, including 2022, no vacations and YOLO

Yeah. Not a concern. These are passengers who may do things like leave a very expensive and sentimental item hanging on a chair at a Grand Cayman resort and then pay for someone 👀 to fly a person from Chicago to Grand Cayman to retrieve it, deliver it back to their home, then fly back to Chicago.

The mistake would be to think that there are no people out there that would pay this amount.  There are.

And I thank them... because the more people that are willing to pay a high premium for various suites... it helps subsidize me sailing in a 2D cabin....  🙂

Yet, if in The Iconic Suite you would not have to deal with us... LOL

Everything would be catered en-suite and as such one would never have to leave TIS, except to dis-embark.

bon voyage

Sounds like what I'm doing now at home.😄

This things confusses people all the time. Just think of how many drinks you can really drink - you wont drink it all.. and the ones you will drink wont cost the price you pay for the "all drinks included". What if you are not a drinker in the first place?

Uh, What exactly are you trying to say? Are you related to Yogi Berra?

Well, when WE stayed in The Iconic Suite it was a beautiful experience ----

Never gave the cost a thought !!

Nothing I could find to complain about, lots of great food, excellent service from 3 Butlers ( 4 shrimp cocktails even if I ordered only 3 ) , a fridge full of Diet Cokes ,  etc, etc----  and, and,  Then I woke up from my dream !!!!

I was looking at cabin/suite prices a week ago and found a refundable rate for just 3,800+ more for a sky suite.  I think that was actually a mistake, unlike the Iconic Suite which was the only available suite left.

Was the $3800 for single or double?

Two sailings in the PH on the Constellation. Butler served all meals. No reason to leave the suite.

Oh I don't know, how about ports, excursions, casino, shows, games, experiencing different restaurants and their ambience. Interacting with others, shopping, just to name a few. Then there is the pool if you're in to that sort of thing, and the gym. Lot's of reasons to leave depending on a person's point of view. But your money, your choices.

Didn’t like the balcony on edge penthouse totally covered and I am sure much smaller balcony, rest of the suite was great. Looking forward to our royal suite on summit in a few weeks.

We both had high stress jobs and just wanted to relax. Invited some people from the Roll Call and entertained. Butler's pantry. I enjoyed ice thru the door on the full size fridge.

I like how you think!

Go all the way thru the booking and see the prices for the suites on the E class.   The Edge Villa and above suites all go for a lot of money.

I have a cruise a booked on the Beyond in Mar 2023 in a SS the price is $2549 pp.   the Edge Villa is $10,300 and the Iconic is $22,200 pp.  this is for a 7 day cruise.   Other dates are higher.   I choose that date because of the “reasonable” rate for a SS especially on a new ship.

Will they give it away because it is not booked?  I don’t think so.  It will remain empty.  Why put extra wear and tear on it?

Look at the prices for PH suites on other cruises.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
