Little known RCCL perk

Are you sure?

last cruise I used the credit on day four.

I used both the perk and the earnings on my last night.  I postponed it as I found out that if you cash your earnings your play action for the sail goes back to 0.

No idea why he got $8 and I got $6, but $6 is what it says for diamond plus.

Some have reported that it may make a diff on WHEN you attempt this - the amount might be higher in the first couple of days of the sailing.

We're D+.   We get $6 and used it on day 10 of a 12 day cruise and then the second day of our 8 day (b2b).

When I said mine stated $6, as in I got a sheet of paper in my cabin... see the last item. I'm onboard now.

Tbh i didnt cash it out and check. Should have. Next leg i will try and figure it out how to use it.

I was also told by friends to use obc to gamble I have to have  cashier put it on my casino account. These machines here on grandeur arent computerised.

Would be interesting to know how you get the amount onto a slot machine in that case.

You have to ask the cashier to do it. Per my friends who have this as a casino cruise. Has to be done manually.

Hello,

I've seen that every time but always thought it referred to the line above, ie Bingo.

I miss the tokens - they came in useful for playing roulette (privately).

Regards,

On Harmony now. D+. Just got $8 day 2. Turned it into $9

On Mariner - yesterday Jim turned his $8 into $162.  Kept playing and ended up walking away with just over $100.  I haven’t played mine yet!

A man sat down next to Jim and couldn’t figure out how to load his $8 credit onto the machine.  I helped him do that and on his third pull, he hit one of the Progressive jackpots for $42.

$6 for crown and anchor D and up.   ( I know it is D and up, but not sure if it is offered on lower levels)  for any day of the cruise.    At least $2 more casino promo available the first and second day ONLY.   If you are really lucky you might get more the than  usual casino promo of  $2.

So, for those who redeem the offers the first  or second day, you will have at least $8.  Other will have $6.

It's been listed in the compass on my last few cruises.

It's not really a secret....all you have to do, is read the paper in your room, for your perks.  It replaced another perk I think in the casino.

The info is there.  As noted, It is in the compass and  provided in the welcome paperwork.   It has been a benefit for  a while, maybe even pre covid.

Years ago we had a bonus coupon  per person for a Roulet or Craps.  Passengers realized that if they  used both coupons at once ( with opposite wagers)  they were guaranteed a small win. So, the coupons were  discontinued and we had a coin machine that generally  provide a raffle ticket ( t shirt or even $ if you were lucky).  Now we have the $6 play.

Good luck to all!

We are also currently on Mariner...indeed the 8.00 is only for day one and two, but did not check it out until today on day 3.  Will know from now on.

Tried to use Bucky's card, it would not pull the promo.  Cashier told us that for some reason not loaded...and will have to see the host when they come in later in the day.

Mine worked...I played and never won any line at all even playing minimal to medium bets....got down to ten cents and had to "leave it on the table".   😮    Picked the unlucky slot machine...beware of the "Three Little Piggies"  😄

I used to do that as well.  😉  And indeed almost always walked away with a small amount.  Then one day it hit zero...or whatever it is that is all "house win".   Oh well, was not my money to lose anyway.  😄

Dumb us...The way all of that stuff was nestled down at the bottom of the welcome letter, we presumed it was $$ of free play for Bingo🙄 Will make up for that mistake on our July B3B on Mariner🤑

Usually on Day 1-2 (read the compass) they load $2.00 - $100.00 to your seapass card.  So if you are like most people you get the $2.00 plus you CA status free play amount on the first 1 or 2 days only.  The rest of the cruise it is usually just your CA free play amount they give you unless the casino is very quiet then they will run another promo (very rarely).

Hopefully the casino host has a better sense of humor/personality than the one on the Explorer. Reminded me of the soup *** from Seinfeld. 😉

It is for every cruise, so for each leg of the back to back you  get another set of promotions

Two dollars (Rarely but possibly more)  is the casino promotion that everyone gets on  the first 2 days and six dollars for crown and anchor members

if you don’t claim your promotion by the second day, you will only see six dollars.

I've had one cruise this year with $0 and three with just $2 after the first few days.  Two had $8 and the rest $6.  I'm not sure the $2 bonus for day one & two is implemented on all ships.

It's a random number generator with no awareness of CAS level.
