I wish we could get away as much as others on this thread!  Alas, only so many vacation days, and limited number of days away from kindergarten before our DD is considered “truant”.  ☹️  We had to ignore the stream of “free” cruise offers from the casino since our spring sailing, and only went on our two planned trips:

April - Majestic - Mexican Riviera

June - Crown - Alaska Inside Passage with Glacier Bay

We had a great time on both cruises - definitely saw impacts from restart challenges, but that’ll make us appreciate future cruises even more.

That's some good will power. Totally get it, as I wish I could do more longer cruises. I'm working off a school teachers schedule, so whenever I have off, I'm off on a cruise as it's the most relaxing form of vacationing for me. Dying to do a Trans Atlantic cruise, as I love the idea of only having to pay for a flight one way as I love FLL. One day. Hopefully sooner than later I'll cross that off my list.

Same here. Between mine, my son and husbands work schedules and then my daughters college classes we have a hard time finding dates that we are all able to go and of course having the vacation time available. Cant wait until we are able to go on longer voyages.

Regal Princess in February 2022 to see if we still like cruising after 2 year break (surprise, surprise, we sure did!)

Norwegian Breakaway in April 2022 (tried the Haven)

Discovery Princess in August 2022 (swapped Alaska for Europe, was originally planning to do a Med cruise that was cancelled due to COVID)

We have 2 booked in 2023:

Regal Princess in April (just Western Caribbean, spring break cruise to get DS to Elite for Europe)

Enchanted Princess in August (FINALLY Med cruise we have had originally booked for June 2020, also first time trying a Princess full suite, so excited!)

2022 - Three weeks - Regal - Caribbean Cruises.  We had a wonderful time and have four weeks booked on the Sky in February in the Caribbean.  Have to get out of this cold Minnesota weather.  12 inches of snow in past two weeks.  My motto is "There is no bad cruise."

I've been checking out cruise prices for 2024 - prices have really increased.

I did 60 days on the Ruby Princess in 2022. It was a B2B2B2B doing Hawaii, a full transit of Panama Canal, a return full transit of the Panama Canal and then again to Hawaii.

Three on REGAL in October and one on ISLAND in November.

Crew was great.  As I have posted elsewhere, was disappointed in variety and quality of food ingredients on Regal, but big plus to the DR mgmt team who had a great attitude and effort to seat guests with same table and wait staff for those who wanted it

Impressed with food prep on Island, but guest needed to work a bit more to get that same table.

Great experiences off the ship.  Kudos to Regal mgmt who gave us Dubrovnik when we could not get into Valletta.

How many of my fellow Princess cruisers actually sailed in 2022?  Please only respond if you truly *did* sail in 2022...primarily on Princess but feel free to include sailings on a different cruise line as well.

I sailed on Princess once in 2022 - on the Majestic Princess up and down the California coast in April.

I did three other cruises in '22, not on Princess.

Sky Princess - Western Mediterranean (May)

Caribbean Princess - Canada/Greenland (August)

Was thrilled to be back to cruising, and both trips were overall wonderful experiences. Staff was super friendly and helpful - the usual Princess standards, on both ships.

Both experiences were a bit less smooth than pre-pandemic cruises, but that was honestly to be expected due to all the challenges with staffing, supply chain, and ongoing Covid issues. I’ve got my next cruise scheduled on Regal Princess later this year 🙂

1) Emerald Princess in February,  LA to FLL through the Panama Canal.  Ship was half full and suite benefits made it a very good trip.

2). Celebrity Summit in July (NY to Bermuda).  Had a Retreat suite and the experience was better than any of our Princess cruises.

3). Crown Princess in August to Alaska.  Celebrated 50th anniversary with children and grandchildren all in suites.  With the Crown’s propulsion problems, changes in itinerary, vibration issues, etc. this was our worst Princess experience.  Traveling with family made an awful trip into a fairly good one.

In 2023 we will be on Oceania in February to the Caribbean and in September to Canada/New England.  Questionable if we will ever go back to Princess.
