Bay view of Biscayne Bay is always extra compared to city view.

Anyone ever use the Metrorail from MIA airport to downtown Miami. Just wondered how that works out compared to time and cost of an Uber.

I have done it! I liked it... but I like trains! Since I was headed to the port I just grabbed an UBER from the last stop.

My guess would be Hell's Kitchen? A little more panache than the Bayside Marketplace...

I upgraded my guess a little later on the thread and got it correct. Bayside is more  like doing as the locals do.............opposed to H/K which only some can go to.

We are pulling into the harbor now so it looks like you will have a ship to board !

Explanation about my confusion with the time change.  Even though the “spring forward” is today, the ship changed our time a day early so that there wasn’t wild confusion on turnaround day.  Very smart.  So we “sprang” a bit early.  😵‍💫😵‍💫

Good morning.

Had time to see what is new on the threads today and  found your live travels!!!!!!

Happy to see and follow your vacation.

Wishing you safe and fun get away as I follow along with you.

And besides we are under a weather advisory 3-5 inches of snow, 35 mph winds. So I will truly enjoy seeing the  Caribbean scenes.

Be safe.
Enjoy.

How many folks were at guest services demanding that hour that they lost?😂

It actually was a great way to do it, to avoid those that slept in late this morning because they forgot to change their clock.  Safe travels home.

The only noise we heard in our room was around 7am of the shore workers across the bay unloading the ships. The beep, beep noise of the forklifts backing up.

The room window did prepare us for the salt water stains on the balcony glass.

As we were getting ready to leave the large table behind us opened up for a great photo.

It was delicious.  We’d say the experience here was equal to the one in Vegas. The big difference is the one here was less busy. I guess that’s the Ramsey draw in Vegas compared to MIA.

We ate at the breakfast buffet at the hotel called Ole.  Food was very good with an egg station etc.

They charge downtown MIA prices.  FYI they add 18% grats just like RC and it was $34 a person before that. We, no my wallet, felt like the bull at the end of the fight. Olé.

Some much for saving money. 😆

Thought maybe hit up this place at Bayside, don't want to say the name I might be away for awhile again. Probably a little more reasonable priced. A fun place. I know Owen would have enjoyed it. 😉 Great views there also. Check out the pics on the link I posted.
