The Intercontinental is our hotel of choice when sailing from Miami too. If you’re in their loyalty program, they give you vouchers for Starbucks at check-in. My only minor gripe is that the elevators can be very slow. We’ve stayed there several times, and once there was actually a queue set up leading into the elevator lobby to organize the line!

I get a chuckle out of the Star Class reserved seating outside.  A couple of dirty benches in the corner !  Better than standing, I guess. I’m talking about outside, not inside the terminal…

We got our luggage at 11:10 after being in our room for 10 minutes. We were totally unpacked at 12:10 with a huge thanks to Lisa. ❤️

Welcome aboard!

 

I'll be on board in 6 weeks.  Will be my 2nd time on Oasis (1st was Oct. 2021).  I'll be slumming it in an OV balcony for 14 nights.

Captain just announced we have a delayed departure, for 7pm for thruster maintenance. It also gives those with delayed flights a chance to make it. 
 

The announcement was made while we were enjoying the view from the balcony. Other thing we are currently enjoying is some of Lisa’s birthday cake.
 

Shane decided the we need to celebrate something, so he picked Lisa’s birthday which was February 14th. Happy Birthday Lisa. ❤️
