Other interesting happenings this evening. 

 

A Bravo call at dinner, on deck one. Every few minutes another call was made over the PA system.  Just figured it was a drill, until Captain Johnny came on to announce that a small fire had been extinguished in the incinerator area.  I thought that’s what the incinerator was for.🤔  

 

Makes me think of the second to last HMT where Commander Winslow eats it. Braised be.

Looks like Dorian may make it tricky for you to return Sunday. It has slowed so won’t be hitting the coast until Monday now. But it is also upgraded to a category 2 hurricane. 

 

I hope it slows / moves north and East some more so Harmony can make it to port Sunday (and we can board for next week).

Sailing 9/1 on Harmony hopefully and at this point have no clue what is going to happen. Looks like everything from storm goes more east and north and Harmony could get in and out ahead of it Sunday, to possible delay and then the sad reality of possible cancel all together. Hoping for any updates soon.

I am doubting that it will be cancelled all together, but I would accept a B2B.  Joking in that, Owen would not want to miss any school. All 12 year old boys are like that.

She will be on Harmony until early January,  I believe. After that, she does not know where she will end up. There are not a lot of Loft Attendants and they tend to be moved around more. Of course they can request a ship, but less flexibility given the lower number of Loft Attendants vs other room attendants.

The authorities know Lisa has returned earlier than here 6 month pardon. I knew we should have asked for an expungement.  Never sailing with @CruiseLifeRick again. LOL.

Morning is upon us. Now might be the time to share that our neighbor 2 down (opposite direction of this photo) is a balcony sleeper. Not sure what the fascination is with that but to each their own I guess. It’s hot enough out here in the buff, I could only imagine how sticky it would be wrapped up in blankets. Thought I better clarify, I only know because he mentioned it on a pre-cruise page. 

 

 

 

Am I the only one that thinks pickle ball is human ping pong. Some sort of game played by the Lilliputians.

Let's wish it out to sea and away from Florida all together.  We don't want it here in NE Florida either although my evacuation plans are in place if needed. 

 

My brother will be (maybe) on the Harmony next week and just received an email that RCI is evacuating Coco Cay and removing it from the itinerary.  They didn't say what will replace it or if other itinerary changes are necessary. 

 

Imagine what conversations are going on at the corporate office in Miami when you have about 12,000 people waiting to get on or off the ship on Sunday!
