Same for us. Booster jabs today, flu next week. Soon all ready for the Christmas raves.

We both had 9.30 appointments for our boosters.Turned up 8.45 and out by 9.15.Very efficient,like an assembly line.

I don't wear polo (as in the style) shirts but many of my shirts are Polo (as in the brand). I find they are a good fit for me and I normally buy them at one of the outlet stores where they are more affordable. I really don't like the large Polo logo though, prefer the small one. Just personal taste. Same with ship livery, I hate all the in your face artwork. Would much rather P&O had put a smaller Union flag on the hulls as opposed to the huge ones...

We have been out to lunch and, believe it or not, ate inside in a restaurant.  Quite apprehensive initially but, although the place was busy, we felt very comfortable.  Hurrah!  Winter doesn’t seem so bleak now

 

On the downside, my dentist cancelled an appointment this morning, with 20 minutes notice.  Grrr, except it saved me going out in the rain.  Rebooked for a couple of weeks.  Hopefully all is well but I haven’t had a check-up since autumn 2019, so it will be good to get checked over

 

The day started wild and wet but has moderated to November 14°C and calm.  All very strange - but very bearable

John Lewis adverts used to be so good. Not sure what has gone wrong this year - maybe by trying to appeal to everyone it is appealing to no one.

Bet it cost a lot of money tho.

Yes I was stuck in bed with Covid19 most of last November.

Mask wearing is compulsory indoors in Spain and mask wearing was 100% observed in our hotel and all shops plus all staff wore masks too.

From our time in rural Spain, our local restaurants didn't even open until 20:30 !
