Today is our 53rd wedding anniversary.  Just doesn't seem possible.  Jack and I spent the day going to some of our favorite shops, had a delicious 2 glass Moscato relaxing Italian lunch.  Just enjoying being with each other made it a perfect anniversary.  I couldn't ask for a better one.

@Sunshine3601 Debbie so glad you and Eric both will be cruising very soon.  Time to relax, de-stress, rejuvenate and just.....be.

Happy anniversary!! Sounds like a lovely celebration. Which restaurant?

@HBE4 Look what we found at the grocery store today! ☺️ We couldn't be more delighted. So, we had French Dip sandwiches for dinner, with very thin sliced deli roast beef, Swiss cheese, Lawry's Au Jus and Horsey Sauce! They were really good!

Our closest Arby's is a little over an hour and a half away. We were so disappointed last time we stopped there on the way home and picked up sandwiches. Only to find out that we hadn't requested any Horsey sauce and didn't have any packets left in the fridge. This fills a need. ☺️

Now if they would just bottle the Van De Kamps battered fish sticks tartar sauce. It was the best tartar sauce I have ever had. I actually wrote to them when they quit providing it. They sent coupons, failed to provide the recipe, and said sorry, no longer. I will have to look again and see if anyone has been able to duplicate it. ☺️

Did you ever try any of the copycat recipes? I've done a few and I've gotten pretty good results.

I've done the big Mac secret sauce, KFC spice mix, Fridays jack Daniel's sauce. Not bad results.

Thanks! I just mentioned that in another post. People online do seem to figure these things ☺️

Haven't tried that one. My favorite was Hellman's. Still trying to recreate this one.

I just did a quick search - there are copycat Van de Kamp recipes.

Wow.  One of my favorites! After seeing this I had to search our local stores websites.  Kroger says they sell it.  Thanks!  I need to get some thin sliced roast beef.

We have an Arby's in town.  We stopped there yesterday and they were out of packets.  They were filling up small serving cups for drive through orders.

I am going to get a bottle.  Then I won't have to keep up with extra packets in the refrigerator.

@sgmn Sue, how are your little grandsons going?  I hope they are both back to full health now.

Aw  thanks for asking aussie, the baby, Theo is bonny and great, has his 3 month anniversary yesterday.

Little Isaac is OK,  got sent home from nursery yesterday with high temperature but it was back to 36.4 by the afternoon. Ongoing issues with allergies. They paid to see a specialist on Wednesday and confirmed what his NHS Dr said, definitely has milk, eggs, peanut and legumes allergy but not sesame or treenuts which is great.

Good chance he'll grow out of milk and eggs

Just waiting to see if we're needed today or if he'll go to nursery

I will be very interested in your thoughts. How does it compare to Chops? The menu looks great. Are you going to get the Tomahawk?

Disappointed again in celebrity food , we both ordered prime rib which was about as good as outback , last year Prime cut on Edge was about 3 or 4 times thicker, dinner was not as good as Chops, I think it will improve , entertainment has been excellent bartenders are all great.
