Thank you, Marian.

Physically -- still safe. The soul -- not so much. Every day another atrocity is discovered, and the realization that we're not dealing with human beings is, sadly, very eye opening.

We are always thinking of you and the people in Israel.

Thanks for asking.  He's really showing his age (16), and has lost more weight.  A couple of years ago he was almost 15 pounds, which is normal for a Maine Coon, but was 9.6 last week at the vet.  He can still jump onto the 30 inch tall desk, where he has a heated bed, though!

Sorry to hear he isn’t in the best of health. I think it was you that posted a picture of a heated kitty bed. We want to get one for Chloe. Is this the one? What do you think about it?

After days of rain, the rain has finally stopped in Newfoundland.

I love that you've trained DS to take CC-style pics with feet and lighthouses!  🤣

Of course as I'm looking I get jonesing just to book another one.  So I've ended up turning my Icon Nov 30th in a S2S with Oasis on Dec 8th.  I think I need therapy.

I've often said that we need our own support group.... instead of being "Friends of Bill W." we could call it "Friends of Ken H"!!!!

We have snow on the forecast for Tuesday, and it’s going to be -7 Celsius. It might be a chilly Hallowe’en!

Growing up you always had to plan your Halloween costume for the possibility that you'd need to wear a coat/snowsuit underneath it.

Beautiful day for the annual Sculptures by the Sea on the coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama Beach.  It wasn’t too hot despite the appearance of this sculpture ….30D8E6F4-2F0B-48A3-8DF8-B3773F204056.thumb.jpeg.ce3b581b9ecbd064cb943f75869f35d8.jpeg

The idea behind this sculpture - a shell with feet - is to encourage people to walk more

Photo from the platform from Circular Quay station.  You can see how short the walk is to the OPT.  Reason we always train it in for cruises that leave from the Overseas Passenger Terminal.

Thank you, aussie, for all those beautiful pictures, and for bringing back memories which seem from another life, with the museum on the left, which we visited....

This "lap swimmer" is sadly "beached" from the beginning of the war, since the swimming pool doesn't have a shelter...

I cannot fathom what you are forced to live through right now but  I am thankful that my photos are bringing back fond memories of your time spent here over 5 years ago.  I pray that your previous life returns to you, your loved ones and your country.

We got a break in our rain yesterday, and I was able to log a few miles.

I swear the deer are almost tame here.  This one was about six feet from me on the trail when we stopped and looked at each other.

When I held out my hand, it started walking toward me until it saw there was no food in my hand.  I think they are being fed.

Filets for dinner last night.  I think this is the first red meat I have had in the last nine weeks, since I started eating a healthy diet.

We picked up the grandkids after school, because SIL had taken our daughter to her appointment at Cleveland Clinic.  Filets seem to be their favorite meal, and our grandson always manages to eat a couple of them.

Then it was game time.

Thanks for the compliment.  I take all the photos on my iPhone XS which my “kids” keep nagging me to upgrade but I think it takes pretty decent photos.  I just take photos for my own pleasure and happy to share them here.
