Great pictures.  We will definitely visit there sometime soon.  We even looked into staying at the Greyfield Inn on the island for a weekend (where JFK Jr. secretly got married).  At about $1000 per night with a min 2 night stay, we'll pass.

Look for a Groupon😉

Thank you, John, and kudos for the support and encouragement at the very beginning 🥰

I'm just glad to notice I'm not the only one who gets confused which thread I'm on.

Almost posted wedding pics here last night. 🤣🤣

Someone from each of the different regions of the UK are chosen to represent the civil service departments at the Queen's Royal Garden Party every year based on their achievements in their job.

Probably about 10 and their partners are chosen  out of 430,000 civil servants.

We had a 2 night all expenses paid trip to London and an invite to Buckingham Palace and Afternoon Tea in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.

Pauline definitely has the style and grace to match that honor.  🙂

So a little bit of decadence this afternoon when I stopped for lunch.  It's called a 's'mores milkshake from The Mug Shakes Restaurant

I keep saying I'm going to get back on track with my weight and exercise but so far I've just been one giant catastrophic failure!

OMG!!   How do you even approach that to eat it?   😄  LOL!!

Ok, how about some travel photos, from one of those fully vaccinated people.  Today, we took the ferry from St. Marys, Georgia to Cumberland Island.  It was a little cool on the 45 minute crossing, but was a beautiful day for exploring the island.

One of the main attractions is the dungeness ruins, an 1884 mansion built by Thomas Carnegie

The island is home to many wild horses

I love the paths and unique trees

I often have to scroll up and look at the title in order to know which of the two threads I'm on. Often I don't even know which conversation belongs on which thread.

Well, my last update on receiving the Moderna vaccine dose #2 this past Thursday.

I was sluggish yesterday, kinda just rested watching TV and took a nap.

Ate dinner (Pizza and salad) kept drinking water.

Felt a little achy, but not terrible, did 2 loads of wash.

Went to bed early for me at 9:30pm.

About 3:30am woke up, do not know if I woke up because I had to P or because I had a headache.

Yup, on a scale of 1-10 it was about a 7.  Enough to catch my attention.

Took 800mg. of Ibuprophen (there goes the ulcer on an empty stomach).

Fell back to sleep, got up at 8 am.

I feel back to normal.

No complaints this morning.

So all in all if it weren't for the tired feeling, and that late headache that quickly resolved, this second dose I  overall did very well.

So I agree with what has been posted, different people have different side effects.  Mine were tolerable.

Oh you want to hear something freaky.

I live with chronic knee pain and I notice it more when I kneel on the pew in church or walk down stairs.

Um, I have no pain.  Actually no pain since Friday about 24 hours after injection.

This is the same thing that happened after vaccine shot #1 and lasted about 2 weeks.

Now mind you I know the chemist in developing this vaccine used RNA as a messenger and it has not other effect once it formed the carrier effect, but................................................just saying

Stay healthy

Ohh, that's easy -- on "mine" there are no pics of Bella and OTW 😉

OTOH, wedding pictures are more than welcomed.

I've been known to post mine.... The one where the groom doesn't wear a tuxedo and a white tie, or any other tie for that matter....

55 and up just got the go ahead starting this weekend in Ontario.  I should be getting mine this week.

Are you having the big gap between jabs in Ontario or just 4 weeks? We have friends in Stratford and we are hoping they will be able to come over for our sons wedding this Summer 🤞

The beach at Cumberland had the firmest sand I have ever been on.  A great, wide beach with quite a few shells.

That's OK...it's upside down when it goes into your stomach anyway!  Still looks delicious!
