I wonder if the Covid lockdowns were the cause? It can't be the quality of the food!!!!!!

Here is an article about their closure.  I'm glad the new location is on Commercial St., so close to the port.

Thank you for sharing this article. The location was small and the lines at times stretched around the corner and down the street.

Did you get anything on the Commercial location and timing? I didn't notice any mention in the Boston piece.

Guess I should have taken a picture of the location when I was there so people would have believed me.

Customers crammed inside, out the door and around the corner.  Just placed a call to them and the nice young man said the planned date is July 15 but for sure by end of summer.  They are excited about the new location,  too as it faces the beautiful waterfront.

Love the name. We named our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel "Penny" because she cost a pretty penny from the breeders.😁

I was talking about the new location that is opening on Commercial Street.  That is not the new location, that is the closed store.  I will make sure not to post a picture of the new location when we go to Maine later this summer.

I remember those lines well (I might be in one of the pics) - and to think if there was social distancing the lines would start in the next town!!!! I thought to myself - this is a gold mine............and their hours are until they run out of donuts. I would try to be one of the first folks ashore and head right to the store...........and wait in line...........but worth it!!!!! I bet that the ATM wasn't used much!!!!

Again...for the third time.  😉 😄

Welcome back "Troy".  🤗

“Troy” isn’t a word or name. It was Troyka, which is a name for Russian 3 wheel carriage. Ural Motorcycles has a model called Troyka.  I had a Ural Troyka for a few years. It was fun to ride but couldn’t get out of the way when needed. Not enough power.

OK - blame it on Senior Moments................be nice to old people

🙄  And here I thought, answering your questions, providing links and directions was being nice.  Guess I won't make that mistake in the future.  Scrolling by from now on.

Beautiful mountain to get left behind at though!  😉  And if you had to walk back...at least it was "all downhill from there".  😄

That’s what

I said, all downhill.  I hated being “that person” who held up the tour🥴
