The next Celebrity cruise ship will probably be called....

According to two diferrent sources (Trademarked names by Celebrity and the official calendar of Grand Cayman) it seems that the next ship for Celebrity will be called....

CELEBRITY ASCENT

 

Currently it is of course unconfirmed, but what do you think of the name?

I was wondering about another 4 letter name - Edge, Apex,  though Beyond puts paid to that idea.

The Grand Cayman shows it in early 2023, though a post above said about late 2023.

Imo, it's the logical progression after Beyond.

A ship's name doesn’t always match it's seaborne purpose:

Constellation

Eclipse

Equinox

Infinity

Millennium

Reflection, etc..
