So excited to see a Radio Live! I will be sailing on Odyssey Sunday but will definitely follow. Your 2nd week  Live will help with my cruise withdrawal.

Have a great cruise and make sure you have time to "watch the news"

Hey, do you think there may be room for me in your luggage?

Haha. . . If I put you in, I won't have room for all my electronics MedicKenK 😄😄

I think you may be sailing as well. . .

Hello everyone, and good day. The Sea is Calling Welcome to “LIVE” from Oasis of the Seas

I will be heading north tomorrow to sail Oasis of the Seas from Cape Liberty.  This will be my first Cruise since Nov 2019 (Queen Mary 2, transatlantic) Wow, it has been almost 24 months since I was able to post “LIVE” My Covid Test today was =Negative=, so I am ready to sail.

There has been a lot of media attention about Oasis of the Seas, being the first Oasis Class ship sailing from the NY metro area. (Bayonne, NJ). This ship was supposed to sail last year (from Cape Liberty) and Royal Caribbean has been marketing this ship since November 2019 when she completed her $165 million amplification. (For her 10 year anniversary)

I will attempt to point out most, if not all of the new features, including:

·         Reimagined, Caribbean-inspired pool deck.

·         Splashaway Bay kids Aquapark.

·         The Lime & Coconut signature bar.

·         Perfect Storm trio of waterslides.

·         Ultimate Abyss – the tallest slide at sea.

·         Music Hall inspired by the Quantum Class Ships

·         Portside BBQ, the cruise line’s first barbecue concept.

·         Spotlight Karaoke, dedicated karaoke venue.

·         Mexican grab-and-go fare at El Loco Fresh

·         Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade

·         Bionic Bar, with the dynamic duo of robotic bartenders.

·         Royal Escape Room – Mission Control: Apollo 18.

I don’t think I named all of the new features, but I will attempt to point them out throughout the week. I also plan to show all of the new protocols that have been implemented on Oasis of the Seas.

I am hoping for good weather next week, and I am looking forward to entering the Passenger Terminal at Cape Liberty on October 3, 2021.

There will be much more coming in just a few days . . . Thanks for tuning in.

I am ready to start heading north up to my pre-cruise hotel. I live in Perry Hall, Md. and will be on 95N and the NJ Turnpike for most of the transit (to Elizabeth, NJ). . .  It should take me about 3(ish) hours to get there.

hI Lorraine.  Wishing you a great voyage tomorrow.  I was reading a short review of yours regarding a Beach club or other at Antigua. It was about All inclusive day pass or Pay as You go.  Please let me know what place this was.  email is nana travel @ sccoast dot net.

Thanks so much.

They just announced that we’ll be back in Bayonne tonight by 9:30 for a medical emergency unrelated to Covid. Happy the for the patient but bummed for the rest of us because they’re going to close the shops and the casino at 7pm today.

I'm confused, so you left the port all ready and headed back to Bayonne to be back there by 9:30pm?

We left Nassau our last port on Thursday. And today arriving at Bayonne by 9:30.

So is everyone allowed to get off and go home or aren't they disembarking until tomorrow morning?

I assume the dock workers and RCCL personel are not there so it's impossible for them to let you off right?
