So far mixed reviews. Boarding quick and easy. Luggage at cabin before ship left port. Safe had issues, maintenance put in new batteries but real problem was the key paid only worked for a couple of numbers.

The minus medallion net is unreliable. Waiters couldn’t access the system for bar orders in the buffet or Good Fellows bar. Most people were done eating by the time their drink orders showed up even something as simple as water and ice tea.

Will post the abbreviated Patter when we are back in the cabin

There was an Ian on cruise staff on Majestic in March 🙂

Yeah... There was some rumor mill stuff involving him being transferred to the Island late March/early April. Wondering if there was any meat to it.

Has La Patisserie been replaced by Good Spirits?

Where can you get specialty coffees besides Buffet?

Rumor mill had an International Cafe being added by Casino - was it? (I'd be sincerely surprised if so, but a few adamant rumor mills)

Thanks, enjoy.

Day 2: At sea.

So far I am very unimpressed. I'm already on my 3rd medallion, it doesnt recognize where i am. The app thinks im permanently in my stateroom and therefore cannot order cocktails for delivery anywhere else. There are no waiters walking around taking orders and each bar i have visited only has one bartender working. I ordered a baileys and coffee this morning and waited 50 minutes only for it to be cancelled. Dinner in the dining room took over 2 hours last night. Only one of the two pools is open and ZERO hot tubs are open. The ipad/app system is killing customer service, no one knows how to fix it.

I am correcting a previous answer.  La Patisserie is still on signage but has been replaced by Good Spirits.  Open at 6 for pastries and coffee but you may be better off going to the buffet for its coffee bar and pastry area.

Thanks, I figured that for La Patisserie.

Any update on whether the rumor was true - did they add an International Cafe? (Seriously doubting it, but have to ask)..

Thanks again.

I also recommend the buffet for your pastry needs. The buffet pastries are larger in size, quantity, and selection. La Patisserie/Good Spirits has a 20+ minute wait due to only 1 bartender working at a time and they fulfill app requests before acknowledging walk-up customers. See attached photo for La Patisserie pastry options.

So absolutely no change there at all either. (That's how it was on prior sailings, BTW, before Good Spirits, etc)...

Thanks for the update..

If they added an IC it is not shown in their deck plans. We sailed Island’s sister ship Coral in 2013 & they had a very small IC.
