Good Morning; it's Sunday and we're at sea. Sun is shining and looks to be the start of a lovely day. Received a note under my door that laundry will take at least 48 hours to return. On short cruise, unless emergency, I don't use it.

Buffet dinner last night appeared to be sparse, exactly what had been reported by previous cruisers. For me however it was quite adequate and yummy. Just give me a piece of chicken and I'm ok and last night there was chicken florentine. What could be better - chicken breast, spinach and cheese. Small salad, no dessert; I'm happy. Trivia was great. We won. Good start.

So I guess you'd like to know what's going on today. Morning is chock full of stuff and of course the highlight is the FIRST 3 hour (you better hurry) $10 sale. You can bet there'll be another one.

There is something called Festival of the World Steel Drum class. There will be 3 sessions and you need a ticket to attend. Tickets on first come first served basis will be distributed at Vines at 10:00. First class is today at 11:00. I'll pass.

Also this morning bingo, arts and crafts, shopping show, casino introduction, art enrichment talk and trivia. Guess what I'm doing. You can also make paper planes, boost your metabolism and see the movie Coco on MUTS. Phew! All this before noon.

Moving on into the afternoon we have Alaska presentation, pool games, more bingo, more trivia and oodles of offerings from the shops and the spa and movie Eddie the Eagle on MUTS.

Major entertainment tonight will be production show Bravo and MUTS movie Black Panther. It is also formal night with the Captain's Welcome Aboard Party & Champagne Waterfall in the Piazza. I'll be going to the show and will pass on the champagne.

A few responses:

1. Trivia prize a small turquoise notebook

2. Bill - one show only at 7:00 PM

Thank you all for remembering me and with all your warm welcomes. Without you there is no Live. :)

Time to go to the gym and I really need coffee. Later.

I have to say with all the talk of tweaking the WFM we were unimpressed at both lunch and dinner.

We saw 8 or so chefs brainstorming with their laptops at a table in Skywalkers one afternoon at the start of the PSE lounge.

Dont try and get anything to eat up there between lunch and dinner.

So here I am again with some nonsense. It's called Horizon Ct./Cafe Caribe breakfast. Sorry, but it's going to take me awhile to call it World Fresh Marketplace. To me, that sounds like Winn Dixie. Anyhow, today is my egg day, so I wanted a mushroom and cheese omelet. Only place to get it is Cafe Caribe. OK. Lots of seating there, because most people don't know it's free except for dinner (when it becomes Planks and Steamers). In order to order omelet you first have to put all ingredients into a water glass. If there's more than one person in front of you it's going to take a long time. You just put your choices into aforementioned water glass; all at once. Person before me chose everything and also had a hard time fitting it into her glass. When you finally reach the order taker, he takes your glass, gives you a receipt, tells you to give it to your waiter and it will be delivered. Way too much work. Also, no cut up fruit; slice of cantaloupe very hard to manipulate with knives that don't cut well. Couldn't find any bread other than english muffins or bread to toast. Ate half a bran muffin instead. Looked at the main buffet when I left, and that's where I will go subsequently; omelet be damned! LOL

Visited passenger services desk (PSD) for printout. Already error. PSD guy didn't understand what I meant by loyalty credit. I'll see if it shows up or visit them again later or tomorrow. No rush.

Visited casino to try new way of activating slots with my new card. It worked. Left them $1 donation. But I did play for 10 minutes.

Time for trivia. Bye

Did you get the loyalty verification card in your cabin upon embarkation?

Mine actually showed up on the travel summary about 5 days out.

Hi guys: not much to say, but as you know I will find something to chatter a.bout. First, chocolate. When my steward left me the little red heart last night I told him I could only eat dark chocolate; the blue ones. So today, he gave me a whole glass full of blues. Yay!!!

I also forgot to tell you that when I switched out some of my mini bar I asked for something other than Dos Equis like Bud Light. Yes, they gave me Bud Light.

Won this afternoon's trivia; perfect score. Got a wine stopper; very nice - first one ever. Sure beats lanyards.

Keith: yes, got loyalty card, but no credit to account yet. I will haunt them until it appears.

Found something to eat tonight; broccoli hasn't shown up yet. But Brussel sprouts were there, so all is well. Unfortunately left my wine mug up in buffet and as of 15 minutes ago nobody found it. Hope someone turns it in; really need it.

Over and out for now. See you in the morning.

Looking forward to reading your thread, Pia. We've won quite a few of the wine stoppers the past few years. It's one of my favorite prizes. We saw the rough weather Saturday on the Port Everglades webcam. Sam likes to watch the ships departing.
