 But if you book with a dollar and hang on to a pre-purchased FCD bought prior to the booking...you can add it  later...gives you more flexibility with your FCD.

But...CAN it be added later???why not just add it now...?  I think this is for someone who is not  sure if they want to cruise or not...just holding onto a room etc.

 You answered your 2nd question with your following statement and  agee with it and follow with my  question why would you use an FCD?

 

To answer your first query, yes you can, would not state it if I did not have recent experience, like last month.

 

You can add a FCD to any deposited booking  as long as the FCD was purchased before the booking date.
