Anyone else watch the finale of Below Deck Mediterranean last night and the reunion show?  Not too exciting, though the reunion show was a little bit better.  Mat and Sandy definitely will never be working together again lol

Got that right.  Mat constantly needed positive feed back or he wasn't happy.

Looking forward to Below Deck with Captain Lee. Love Captain Lee.

I didn't take a picture but I saw similar empty shelves at BJ's today but it was the toilet paper and paper towel aisles.  Not sure if it is supply chain related or the hoarding has started again.  Lots of chips though, want to swap?😉

No problem with paper products here.     Today was the first time I saw a great sale on paper plates in a very long time.

We try to avoid drinking sugary beverages (save that for the alcohol) so usually get Powerade or Gatorade Zero and since August it has been hard to find.    when I do see some it is rarely the flavors we like.

I am finding the section for jars of gravy or packets of hollandaise sauce, etc. to be very limited the last 2 weeks.   I was thinking it was just here since we only 2 food stores for the island but nope my friend said it is the same back at home.

Some of the strangest things to have shortages on during covid.

Sprite Zero is on the endangered list around here.  I need to find something else to mix with vodka.

I get my meat from a small, family owned supermarket and they notified people over the weekend that they are not able to get any fresh turkeys this year for Thanksgiving!

Cut some wood today for the Firepit,  A Branch feel off a huge Ash Tree that was dead down the street.  It should burn nice and hot to keep us nice and warm in the late evenings.

My mother told me twice in the last month that the paper goods will be in short supply again.  Sometimes I think hearing stuff like that is enough to send everyone into a tizzy.  Kind of like saying the snow word up here in New England.

DH said there was no kleenex band tissue a few weeks back.  Not that much demand though, plenty of B & J brand left on the shelves.

I was able to get Kleenex brand tissues and Bounty napkins but no paper towels or toilet paper.  We need to go to NH on Friday to see my mother, so are going to try BJ's up there.  I think part of the issue is the good coupons that BJ's had for all of these products in their last two books.

It only took 6 weeks for the plumber to make it, and they are family by marriage.

LOL.  Consider yourself lucky!  I am going on 3 years with our mudroom and I am married to the "plumber".  Gas hook up was moved from previous location about 3 weeks ago and now the dryer is in the mudroom and the washer, well, it is still off the kitchen.  Next is the water lines but can't do that until the last pieces of baseboard are installed behind the new toilet.  All I can say is it had better get done soon or I will be making the news, and not in a good way.

@reallyitsmemaInteresting about the turkeys.  What is up with that?   My MIL always gets them from the turkey farm in MA.  I think it starts with a B or it is in the town that's name starts with a B.

I'll have to tell her tomorrow to get on the case and find out.

They claim it is due to labor shortages and shipping issues.

My sister gets her turkey from Verrill Farm in Concord and was ordering yesterday after hearing the place I go won't have them.  Not sure of one with a B, there is one in Seekonk that is called Bellwing.  I would have her order if she hasn't.  Most people that order from places like that know to order early anyways as they sell out.

Oh no, that's not good at all.  I best call my local store and place my order.  🤞

My Costco doesn't have TP or paper towels either.

I can’t believe the idiotic state I live in, the state passes a rule saying you need to show both responses to all issues , including the holocaust. There was a news story on this on national news. I love this thread but so many sad health stories, my nice and godchild just had another brain surgery, she had 40 or so surgeries in her 40 or so years .

I saw the episode then half of the reunion. I was just too tired and had to go to bed. Hopefully, the reunion will be shown again.

They replayed the finale last night, just the show and the the reunion replayed on Watch What Happens Live.  You can find it online and stream it though.  Not sure if WWHL is On Demand or not.

Mat never should have been allowed back after all his antics.  I also have not been impressed with his food either.  Way too much chicken fingers and fried chicken for a mega yacht.  His breakfasts were terrible.  I can make better eggs than he did and I only worked at Friendly's in high school lol  Mat just isn't at the same level as Ben or Rachel.

😁 😁 So, I gather she takes after Jack 😁 😁

I debated mentioning the following but this thread does make it easy to open up.

She's adopted since she was just a few days old AND she really does have Jack's good looks and my brain, sometimes!.   Good guess on Dani's part!

When she was little, a toddler, she loved to hear the story of when we brought her home from out of state on a plane.  She was 5 days old on her first plane ride!  She also loves when I tell her not only did I carry her in my heart before she was born but that a part of her will always remain there.  Our car service driver was told we would be coming back with an infant and to bring us home in style, he picked us up in a very long white stretch limo.  Like true rock stars.  Oh the looks we got!

I have friends that don't know she's adopted. It isn't a secret, just never came up in any discussion.

I debated awhile until I decided to click Submit Reply to this post........................

By the way, doctor says granddaughter has strep.

Now we have added honey and honey based drinks to preventative maintenance.

NO NO NO SNAKE PICTURES!!!🥺😨😱.

Lake pictures, beach pictures, grandkids pictures, food porn picture, YES.

Hope your granddaughter feels better soon. Hope her throat isn't too painful.

Don't show her the snake picture, she might scream and hurt her throat!

Ah, I hope she is doing ok after her surgery.  I cannot imagine going thru that many surgeries.
