Those x-rays do not look good.

I was hoping you would chime in with your opinion my good doctor. Yes years of being a news camera guy took it's toll.

Since I was 0 for 4 last weekend my predictions are that the Bengals and 49ers will both win this weekend.

RespectfulIy I hope you are wrong on one account.

Sometimes responding on CC can be difficult. It's hard to type when you have this in your your lap so I have to type one handed.IMG_7804.thumb.jpg.48a08601042c3552c723ef3a035f8fb6.jpg

I will stay two nights in their surgery center and actually start PT soon after waking up and being moved into my room. By the time they send me home they say I should be able to climb the stairs to get into my master bedroom. Wow kind of hard to believe.

Wishing you the best, Greg.  You are going to "ace" this!

I always have Goslings Black Seal rum and Goslings Ginger Beer in the house.  I enjoy an occasional Dark and Stormy.  In fact, since it's after 5:00pm here...

I was unsure what cocktail to have this evening.  Thank you for your suggestion as we are now enjoying Dark n Stormy.  Seems appropriate to have with the upcoming storm.  TY 🤩

Morale everywhere starts at the top. Too bad more executives haven’t learned that. Happy employees equal happy customers and more production.
We like to give extra but I like to think it’s a nice surprise. Having envelopes make it less of one.
Our last cruise was Princess April 2019.
They probably have the envelopes too, now.

We are going on Princess in February. Will let you know. Have been on one Princess cruise before, to Hawaii, in 2016. Will be interesting to compare.

We have sailed with Captain Per a few times and he is wonderful.  Very personable.  We were in the WJ on Mariner having dinner one night and I was trying to read the name of one of the dishes.  It was on the angled glass above and I was on my tippy toes trying to read it when I heard a boisterous laugh behind me.  I turned around to see Captain Per watching me.  I told him the signs were hard to see for the vertically challenged to which he replied he didn't have that problem but would have that taken car of for the rest of us!  He stayed and talked to us for a few minutes before he went to have his own dinner in the WJ. 🙂

Personable is absolutely the right word!

Do you know I've never tried ginger beer? I will have to give this a try. Does it need to be with Goslings? Could Kraken work?

I spy a bottle of Blanton's and Jefferson's Ocean. Am I right?????

Tonight while watching Below Deck we will make some Lava Flows.

If you have kraken black spiced rum that would work with ginger beer.  Doesnt have to be goslings but we prefer goslings.

On another note, Mighty Kennedy's mom posted an update on baby Kennedy.  He celebrated his First Birthday yesterday!  They are kept very busy with all of his dr appointments and therapies, but are so grateful for his progress.  They are hoping for the day he comes off of oxygen.

That is Terrific😍   happy Birthday to Baby Kennedy and many more happy days for him and his family🙏

We got ours last night too. Not sure, but they may be doing it by deck on the Odyssey. (?)

We got ours tonight. I guess the memo didn’t get to the right people so they know we don’t need them.

You should have talked OB into staying onboard.     Enjoy your sailings.    😍

Thanks we are having a good time. I would have this morning but he’s a glutton for punishment and wants to get home to all the snow. 😁❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️

I would say the very same thing about the crew on Allure. They have been great. If they are stressed out then they are the ultimate professionals and not showing it.

I agree about the crew. They have been fantastic.

I rarely use those envelops.     I prefer to personally hand the cash to the person.

I was talking to a server in the d lounge. She said that the tips we were giving with each drink goes into a pool. If I wanted to give her extra I would need to put it in an envelope and give to her. Glad I asked questions and found this out so I can make sure she gets the extra that we want her to have.

As I posted previously we finally got to see a photo of OB.

It is human nature to wonder what people look like.😀

Bummer, I must have missed it.

Of course, we're still waiting for a picture of you

 Human nature, right

So today I'm one step closer to my total knee replacement on February 9th. I had my pre surgery appointment. It consisted of going over all the information of what I will be going through. There are two pages of drugs they will be prescribing. Nine total in all. Over 4 for pain plus drugs for inflammation, blood clotting and others. So if my posts doing my recovery don't make any sense you will know why. I will be loopy.

IMG_7800.thumb.jpg.588f983eb1846d0e1589597fe899f7f7.jpg

They did another x-ray that shows the condition my knees are in.

We also went over my CT scan (no pic). I have a level 4 tricompartmental Osteoarthritis which is the most severe grade you can get. Bone on Bone in both knees. I apparently have fragments floating around in my knee that are causing pain also. They refer to this as Easter Eggs that they will remove.

I will stay two nights in their surgery center and actually start PT soon after waking up and being moved into my room. By the time they send me home they say I should be able to climb the stairs to get into my master bedroom. Wow kind of hard to believe.

Wish I could say you have good looking legs but no.  Ocean Boy wins this one. I’m very interested in your surgery because as I mentioned before my husband has the same problem with both knees .......stage 4 osteoarthritis with bone on bone.

Wishing for you a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

I'm am sure after a couple minutes he will be fine and will be grateful you spent time with him. Have a blast.

Thank you, we had a wonderful day. He was a little poppet. For some reason, though I only see him every other week or so, he giggles like crazy as soon as he sees me  which sets me off laughing and then neither of us can stop.

Soft play went very well and then a lovely walk through Tooting Bec Park to a cafe. It gave his mum and dad a good four plus hours so get some chores done and we had a great time.

Being a lifeguard seems like one of those jobs that is an awful lot of boredom mixed in with a little bit of occasional terror.

Talking about lifeguards. When I was sweet sixteen I went to spend a summer working in a tourist town on the Atlantic coast in Cornwall, staying with my grandmother. Her neighbours were part of the Lifeguard club on the beach and they invited me to join. Well as you can imagine I had a wonderful time 😉

But in the early 70s it was quite sexist. The guys were there to look fabulous and save lives and the girls were there to look after lost children and deal with any minor cuts from the rocks.  Also my grandmother kept me on quite a short leash so I couldn't enjoy the parties and socialising quite as much as I would of liked. I was going to go back the following summer and get a live in job in one of the hotels  but life happened and I never did.
