I believe before COVID19, you could use your SeaPass HH drinks for a frozen drink. If you wanted Diamond List alcohol, it would use two of the 3 drinks on card.

I don't know first hand but I seem to remember that being posted on CC last year(?). We don't do frozen drinks.

I think tbe *virgin* can be deflowered but it costs a 2nd swipe of the seapass card.

Not sure how it works in the DL. Maybe cash tip?

can you get two drinks at once in the DL? I’d like a virgin margarita for me, and a tequila for my husband?

No thanks.  I’m on vacation at 5 AM.

😉😉

If I am not up by 5AM when I am on a cruise I get annoyed with myself. Early morning is my favorite time on a ship. Fortunately for me, more people see things your way than my way.😊

It is a step up from no frozen drinks at all. A nice gesture for those who don't drink alcohol.

But don’t you get it, it’s all about the unlimited drinks + the 3 free drinks on SeaPass card. 😇

You think if lounges are shut down due to COVID19, they will give unlimited drinks on SeaPass during HH?  I don’t.

I have no idea. I don't make the decisions and it is too late tonight to speculate. However, that is how they do it over on Celebrity, isn't it?

I don't have that many fingers and toes😉

for the math challenged, the following will give you an answer that is pretty close, as long as we are talking about normal weather temperatures, not the temperature on Pluto or the Sun:

To go from C to F: Double and add 30

Yo go from F to C : Subtract 30 and cut in half.

What makes you think all solo Pins have lost a loved one.🤔

What? Who on earth said that? Where was that in my post? Is that really what you took from my lengthy post?

Good grief

Nonsense!   Many folks, including us, don't drink soft drinks and have 1 cappuccino (at most) all day.  So you are equating 2 alcoholic drinks to unlimited drinks during Happy Hour and 3 more that can be used during dinner.

Sorry, but your many doesn't add up!

The soft drink vouchers could also be used for bottled water. The alcohol vouchers would be for premium cocktails and wines, hence it's win win. Much more value to have Quality instead of quantity instead of this non sense vinegar that they promote as wine.

1. 4 Grand Suites, 3 Junior Suites, but I don't see how that makes me more worthy or less worthy. I could just as easily say I have sailed a fair few out of Europe which are always more expensive, and often a balcony has been more expensive than a suite out of Florida - Never sailed in an Inside cabin or Ocean view

2. No-one seems to factor in the space of a larger cabin. If it takes the space on the cruise ship of three smaller cabins it will often cost the cruise line money in square footage per passenger

3. As I said, I have sympathy with both views, but I like the idea that people with less money (who express loyalty) are provided the perks richer people often take for granted. Let's call it what you are describing - First Class Privilege

1. The point is, which is the better customer for the cruise line.  The person who pays 5x for a suite than an inside or someone who sails 2x as much in a much cheaper cabin.

2.  On Grandeur, a GS is about 2x the area of a balcony.  For well over 2x the price.

3.  WOW, playing the emotional/privilege card.  So everyone should get the same, no matter what they pay/spend???  Why not free cruises for those who cannot afford to cruise????  You get what you pay for.  Yes, you sail in cheaper cabins, but sail a lot, then yes, you get perks.  Or sail less often, but spend a lot more, then you get perks.  Or you PAY for the perks.

Your last paragraph.

But I also enjoy watching the old folk  wearing their Pinnacle badges with pride. Especially the singletons, who have earned that acknowledgement with shared experiences with a loved one they have lost.

I have opinions on the rest of your post, but Ill keep them to myself😉

I guess the late 70's thru early 2000's were the grand days of cruise ship socialism. 🤣🤣

Pat.

This news just in about Spain.

You definitely did the right thing in cancelling.

Thanks Graham.  I was actually quite relieved when I finally made the decision to cancel all three legs.  Just too stressful thinking about all the "what ifs"...plus I really think RCI is going to Cancel those Barcelona cruises anyway.
