Cape Liberty - Bayonne

I have read a bunch on the possible opening of the ports in Florida. However, I have not heard anything about the opening of Cape Liberty in New Jersey.

Even if cruising does start up again - what are the chances that Cape Liberty will be open?

I'm sure eventually but who knows when. Galveston is said to be 3rd in line to be reopened. Might be a staggered opening of ports.

No idea.  We are on a TA from Southampton to Cape Liberty scheduled to arrive October 30th.  Not sure how likely this cruise is... Halifax is now a no go since Canada closed its ports until February 2022 and the 10 day trip is not allowed by the CDC.

This is my only remaining 2021 cruise.

I have a 9 night Canada and New England Sept. 30th on the Freedom now with two strikes against it.

I "had" a 9 night Canada N/E Oct 14, 2021 booked on Freedom....until early this week when I got RCI's email. Holding on to my options until they open up the Oct 2022 schedule....which I hope is soon.

I've been waiting for the email from Royal but nothing has arrived and no indications in my Royal online account either. Strange.

Scheduled for Bermuda in September but have no confidence in Gov. Murphy  letting the port reopen for cruising.  Hope I’m wrong

Just as possible Bermuda will NOT reopen to cruising by then.

I have 3 cabins booked for July on the Oasis out of Bayonne.  At this point, I doubt the cruises will take place.  I'm wondering if RCCL plans to bring Oasis of the Seas to Bayonne in 2022 and 2023?

2022 dates are posted on the website.

I m on that one too and haven't received an email yet. Thinking of doing a lift and switch to the Adventure in September 2022.

Mine is booked as a comped cruise through Casino Royale. I think we're going to try for a Jan or Feb cruise from MIA. My personal opinion is it should be OK by then.

I have a July Freedom of the Seas booked. Just wonder if cruise is allowed and with NJ infection rates lower than FL, would not it be better to start the short 5-day to Bermuda? Bermuda seems to be ok as long as passengers are tested or vaccinated. I am holding on to this one!!!

We have 2 sky suites on Oasis for August 8 that we lifted from last year when the prices were rock bottom. I would love to lift it again to next year as I will never be able to book 2 suites for under 10K, but I am not willing to pay final payment for a cruise that won't sail just to be be eligible for a 2nd lift and shift. That is if they even continue to allow 2nd lift and shifts like what they are allowing for the canceled Alaska cruises.

I am already resigned to the fact that our August cruise from Bayonne will not cruise. I cannot see NY/NJ allowing 6-11 thousand people (depending on what capacity they sail at) plus other ships into their area every week.

I had the same 9 nighter to ne/canada booked for sept and got my email at 3 pm the day of their announcement.  You have till june 30th to make your decision.

It wont show up on your royal online acct.

As I suspect they will reduce to a 7 nighter to bermuda and cococay and i have bermuda booked for august and bahamas booked for end of sept. I cancelled and took refund.

Thought about doing l&s as price for same cruise in 2022 is more than double the price, but decided to do refund.

If you know what you want to do, give rcl a call or you can wait and see and decide in june.
