I can't even imagine the people here that have twelve or more booked at once.

Used to have 2 booked.  Covid forced me into retirement a few years earlier than expected.  We now have 14 booked through 2023.  This includes side by side cruises of 5 and 7 days the first weeks of 2022 and 2023.  We will also have our first two back to backs in April of 2022 on the Discovery  Princess and August of 2022 on the Mardi Gras.  We finally will have 2 bucket list cruises as well in 2023 with a transatlantic and a two week Northern European cruise.

2024 will check off another bucket list cruise to Alaska and the future will bring cruises to Hawaii, Figi, Australia and New Zealand to reality.

I couldn't resist the temptation to book 11 cruises through 2022. Interesting journeys and fascinating ports with 97 days on the water. My five weeks of vacation won't cover that so I'll re-retire and tap out from working. It's gonna be nice.

The worst part of having multiple cruises booked is the crazy time wasted doing weekly mock bookings in search for that occasional $60 price drop.

Not worth the hassle to me.  I book refundable group space with my TA and book early to lock in a price I am happy with.   The only thing I need to check on for price drops is the idiotic dynamic pricing that Royal has with their cruise planner peripheral purchases.

I have two cruises booked at once, first time ever.  I am so excited!!!  Twice the planning fun!

Wonderful!  Have fun planning, and then sailing!!

For a couple of weeks last year I didn't have any cruises booked because they'd all been canceled.  Now I have four:

  • Carnival Vista, August 2021
  • Carnival Panorama, September 2021
  • Mariner OTS, March 2022
  • Majestic Princess, April 2022

I might sneak in another one in December or January.

Spreadsheets!  After so many cancellations, rebookings,  moving money from one cruise to another, and tracking refunds, my spreadsheets even have spreadsheets.

It's worth it to do the price checks occasionally.  On one cruise I dropped from $2680 to $2446 to $1641.   And this is not a guarantee cabin.   That $1000 in savings will pay for my airfare and hotel prior to the cruise.

And I currently have 3 cruises booked:

October - Carnival - Eastern Carib

February - Royal - Southern Carib

May - Celebrity - Greece

LOL- I've never had more than one booked at a time and right now I have four- XD The deals were too good to turn down and "technically" I'm seeing it as one to replace last August this August, one for this year on December 31st, one for next year in March and one for 2023 on December 31st 2022- so just one a year really, lol but in reality 4 within 18 months. Ha! Ha!

Two?  Yes, I used to be depressed if I knew I'd disembark a cruise without already having my next one booked.  Now?  Let's see...

11/14 10-night Eurodam ("free" casino inside cabin!!)

12/11 12-night Nieuw Amsterdam (able to stack 3 FCCs so I could book their Have It All promo)

2/6/22 11-night Carnival Spirit from Brisbane to South Pacific - this will be cancelled soon 😪

3 nights in Australia

2/20/22 12-night Carnival Splendor, Sydney to New Zealand - also will be cancelled 😪😪 so will look for something in late Jan/early Feb to replace at least one of these

4/11/22 5-night Celebrity Summit - lift and shift from March 2021 - first time on X

10/11/22 10-night Carnival Pride - RT Rome

10/21/22 9-night Carnival Pride - Rome to Lisbon

10/30/22 13-night Carnival Pride - Lisbon to Tampa

4/8/23 11-night NCL Bliss - Miami to Barcelona

2+ weeks in Europe

5/5/23 16-night NCL Bliss - Barcelona to NYC

Many of these were booked using FCCs.  I was rebooking almost immediately after a cancellation because I figured the decreased supply of ships out there and the pent-up demand would make prices skyrocket.  Right now, that looks to be happening.  FTR, I don't spend that much money in the casinos.  I'm definitely a "low roller" and rarely even gamble enough to earn a DOU card.  After 30 Carnival cruises, I only just received my first "free" cabin offer.  But, after only 1 HAL cruise, I started receiving either free or deeply-discounted offers.  I even received an offer for a 21-night Seattle to FLL Panama Canal sailing.  Sadly, I can't go.  Stupid work deadlines!

How to keep it all straight?  Spreadsheets my friends!  Spreadsheets!  Hey, I'm a CPA.  Spreadsheets are a necessity of life.  Just like cruising. 😁

I have three Carnival cruises booked: Sept 2021 on the Glory, Dec 2022 Radiance, and Jan 2024 Horizon. I'm also thinking about taking the family on Royal in 2023 (Perfect Day cruise) 🙂  I've never had more than one booked at a time!

I have 10 booked right now and getting ready to book 2 more right now. I'm all the way into 2023. Have FCC to burn!

Only 10 Pat? You know we'll need to replace those Australia cruises soon.  I'll apply 1 FCC to the earliest Pride Med I just booked; the other to whatever in January.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that I have two FCCs from MSC and need to re-book something for them, too.  I did find one in mid-February I may book.  Will probably get a refund for the other (very small) FCC.  That refund may arrive in time for me to have a few dollars to spend in 2023! 😄

We had 3 booked from January 2020 until our last cancellation for May 2021.  We ended up with 4 cancelled cruises, but we have 2 currently booked and need to re-book the 3rd, but plan on waiting until after we get back from our cruise this month.

I have 10 booked with 210 days on a ship in the next 17 months. The last one on my schedule for now is 111 day world cruise on Island Princess. My first one up is on Horizon solo on 8/7, then 7 days on Mardi Gras in September. Next after that is 29 days on 2 different lines solo for October.

We have 5 booked right now.  I have a spreadsheet to keep track of the 2020/2021 cruises that were booked, cancelled, changed, rebooked, cancelled, changed, etc.  I'm such a nerd I guess!  We always like to have at least one booked after we have debarked a cruise.  Helps with the post-cruise depression for sure!  People who have never cruised just don't get it - at least that's our experience.  But when they book their first cruise, we are the ones they come running to for advice!

This is the first time can remember I having more than 3 booked at a time, but we now have 9 booked:

8/10/21  9-Night, Miracle - Alaska from Seattle

10/3/21 7-Night, Vision O.T.S. - Southern Caribbean from San Juan

10/10/21 7-Night, Vision O.T.S. - Southern Caribbean from San Juan

1/29/22  8-Night, Dream - Eastern Caribbean from Galveston

2/6/22   6-Night, Dream - Western Caribbean from Galveston

5/29/22 12-Night, Pride - One Way, Barcelona to London (Dover)

10/11/22 10-Nights, Pride - R/T Rome (Civitavecchia)

10/21/22  9-Nights, Pride - Rome to Lisbon

10/30/22 13-Night, Pride - Transatlantic, Lisbon to Tampa

And like others have mentioned, spreadsheets.  Not just handy for cruises currently booked, but to help remember where we went, what we did, what we liked, what we didn't like on past cruises and excursions, and where we want to go and do again.  The older I get the shorter the memory gets.
