JJean Posted February 25, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2023 How full are the currant Solstice Ships. I was told on the phone they were at 50% capacity and that seemed low. We leave on Saturday for a cruise.
WestLakeGirl Posted February 25, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2023 Have you tried to do a mock booking to see how many rooms are available? That’s a good place to start 2
mahasamatman Posted February 25, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2023 Most (if not all) Celebrity ships are sailing at full capacity.
jelayne Posted February 25, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2023 They aren’t restricting bookings and so it is all over the place. The Solstice Mexican Rivera sailing seem to be in the 50% range. Our upcoming Summit is looking to be around 55-60% but the following sailing is Sold out for Veranda, Concierge, Aqua and Suites.

itzfitz Posted February 25, 2023 #8 Share Posted February 25, 2023 Just off the Edge and it was at almost full capacity. Still a wonderful cruise with fantastic service. Entertainment was outstanding so the 9 pm show was always standing room only. We love Celebrity!
lola2013 Posted February 25, 2023 #9 Share Posted February 25, 2023 Equinox appeared to be 100%…or pretty close to it…on our 2/9 sailing.
Arizona Wildcat Posted February 25, 2023 #10 Share Posted February 25, 2023 As said the capacity today is the number of beds. If Celebrity can sell all of them they are doing so. Prices are following the booking numbers. Those that are unhappy about expensive cabins just need to look around at different cruises. It varies greatly today. Rare Georgia_Peaches Posted February 25, 2023 #13 Share Posted February 25, 2023 (edited) Solstice has 1426 passenger staterooms. A mock booking reveals 81 staterooms currently available. This doesn't account for any that they may hold back for Guarantee bookings. So assuming 1345 staterooms have been booked with 2 passengers each, we are looking at approximately 2690 passengers. Passenger capacity is 2852. By my calculations, this puts us at approximately 94% full at this point. Some staterooms will have three passengers and some only 1, so it's just an approximation. Bottom line...we are full. Edited February 25, 2023 by Georgia_Peaches

Rare horseymike Posted February 25, 2023 #17 Share Posted February 25, 2023 We have a few X cruises booked , I check back regularly to see if there are any fares going down. So far the fares have all gone up and cabin availability has gone down on these cruises. I get the feeling they will sail close to or at capacity. Sail away day looks like it won’t hit 60 degrees! We're also on the March 4 cruise and also from San Diego (brrrrr). I've been doing mock bookings over the past several weeks and it has really filled up (assuming X is being honest on their website). Last week, I counted 140 empty Concierge and Veranda cabins and now there are very few left . We're in AQ and it's almost full. A few weeks ago, there was plenty of AQ availability but I assume people "moved up". It could be that lots of Southern Californians are sick of the cold/rainy weather we've had and decided to get away. We were on the Solstice repositioning in September and it was around 67% full. Rare cgolf1 Posted February 26, 2023 #21 Share Posted February 26, 2023 Edge PC cruise last week was basically a full ship with a handful, of inside rooms open and it definitely felt like a full ship.
Rare SUESEABE Posted February 26, 2023 #22 Share Posted February 26, 2023 We are on March 5th sailing of the Reflection. I did a count on Monday which revealed 205 balconies available & 5 suites available (No Inside or Oceanview). Ship info states 1523 cabins. This calculates to 86% occupancy. Rare KasioSails Posted February 26, 2023 #23 Share Posted February 26, 2023 Mock booking for April on the Solstice looks to have ~200 open rooms. So not at capacity but still quite full.
jelayne Posted February 26, 2023 #24 Share Posted February 26, 2023 I hope the improved numbers are a reflection of paid bookings vs casino free booking & charity give aways We had dinner with a friend tonight who booked 7 free cruises this week from casino offers. Every Roll Call we are on seems to have a lot of free casino bookings.

We were on board as well. Never saw an available pool lounger the entire trip. Ocean View cafe was a zoo for breakfast and lunch. Did not enjoy the crowds but it is what it is.
