Thank you everyone. I want to be sure and bring my diet Cokes with me but I hate putting hot Diet Coke’s over ice I like to have them cold. If they’re hot it melts the ice and dilutes the soda.

The key is to keep the cabinet door open. If the cabinet door is open then the drinks will stay cool. If the cabinet door is shut, there isn't proper air flow and it doesn't cool properly.

if you dont open the cabinet, the air inside becomes super hot, and the fridge can't function correctly. we had to leave a note for our room steward, he kept shutting the door! lol

Prop the door open with a towel placed near the hinge.
