I think this is the earliest I seen larger, not cherry, tomatoes popping out before mid June.  So far I noticed 1 Pineapple tomato and 4 Cherokee Purple.

So far we have harvested 1 large tomato, 3 green tomatoes, several cherry tomatoes, and handfuls of strawberries.  My neighbor's watermelons are about cantaloupe size.  Have you raised the pineapple tomatoes before?  I am always on the lookout for different varieties that are good.

@Momof3gurlz Our travel plans include:

In June we have a cruise out of Tampa.  In July a weekend with friends.  In August a quick trip to Texas to see friends and put flowers on my parents graves.  In September a trip to Universal.  In October a girls trip to SAFF (fiber fest).  In November there is the wedding.  Your trips sound like  a lot of fun.

I use something more superior than AI.

It helped to plan our 19th anniversary cruise this summer and will be joining me as well. This superior technology is called Lisa. 😂

I thought you were going to say that it's called Ken. 🤣

Hey Ocean Boy! Let me tell you about Chat GPT, it's super cool and a lot of fun to interact with. It's an advanced language model that can understand and respond to all sorts of questions and conversations. You can ask it about any topic you're interested in, from science and history to movies and games. It's like having a smart friend who knows a ton of stuff! Plus, Chat GPT can generate creative and engaging responses, making conversations with it really enjoyable. So go ahead and ask Chat GPT anything you want, and get ready for an awesome and entertaining experience!

@dani negreanu the photos of your getaway to Marrakech and Madrid are beautiful.  Do you have any other travel plans in the near future?

Andy keeps saying he ‘needs a vacation’.  We have two big trips coming up. First is our big family trip to Disney in August.  This includes us taking the two oldest grandsons on a 3 nighter on Independence of the Seas immediately before the family meets up in WDW.
Then in September we have our Med cruise with additional days in Venice, Rome and Barcelona.
We’re also not keen on big vacations during the summer months when we have the beaches here in RI and our own pool to enjoy.  So to satisfy his itch to go somewhere, and for his birthday next month, it looks like one of the following:

a) staycation (ie: do nothing lol)

b) Atlantic City (we have up to 3 free nights at Harrah’s from his casino status) which would include spending days at Ocean City and Cape May.
c) trip to Cleveland to visit the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. This one may win out since the Red Sox will be playing there on the days we’d likely go.

What travel plans do “all y’all”  have coming up in the next few months?

I think you should go to Cleveland!!  Agree with you about traveling in summer cause that's when we finally enjoy our weather in Michigan!  But, here is our breakdown for the summer:  Spend Memorial Day weekend visiting SIL and BIL (who we traveled with last fall to France) in Baton Rouge, LA, move DS back to MI, spend a week at cousin's shore house in Massachusetts with a visit to see you two!,  NYC for a long weekend in July with DS to see our football team, Manchester United play Real Madrid at MetLife Stadium, visits to NC to check on new house progress, attend 3 weddings here in MI and one in DC the weekend after Labor Day.  Something tells me that the time is going to fly by!

We're back home, tired and although we're missing the kids terribly, it really is good to be back home.

We had a great time just being together, eating good food, getting together with friends, having a fabulous Mother's Day and enjoying near perfect NJ weather in May.  No rain in 10 days and temps in the 70s-80s except for Wed., when the temp dipped to low 60s daytime, 30s at night.

I got a digital photo screen for Mother's Day, with technology that fails my comprehension.  My daughter "claims" she'll start filling it up.  She also gave me a silver bangle bracelet which actually fits my wrist.

I now know first hand the love of a kitty cat.  My daughter's "Luca" is as sweet as can be.  I loved her climbing up on my legs when I was on my computer sitting on a recliner.  Couldn't stop petting her silky, soft fur. Like @A&L_Ont Andrew's Lucy, she loves to nap. I have a photo of my daughter holding her.  I'll post when I get back home from my day's errands.

We're going out with friends for breakfast so I have to get going.

Hope everyone has an awesome weekend.

I had them last year for the 1st time but it wasn't planned.  Last year I ordered Delicious which is one of our favorites.  Turns out they put the wrong seeds in the pack of seeds. They ended up being our favorite tomato so I saved the seeds and they are doing good.

Cherokee Purple is on top of our list too.

For sauces such as pizza sauce I like Amish paste. Great size and meaty.

We are headed to Lakeside Ohio this summer with the kids families.   My side of the family will meet us there too.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame should be fun.

I first heard about ChatGPT a few months ago.  School students have been using it to generate 5 page long essays by asking a few simple questions and spend a few minutes "linking" the responses to make it look like they went thru the process of researching a topic and using their critical thinking skills to write and present the essay.   Some people may call that "cheating" or "plagiarism".

On the flip side, the students still need to read the response from ChatGPT and figure out how to connect them together to make a coherent essay that flows. In that respect, its not different then reading from an encyclopedia at the local library.

I do like the Cherokee purple tomatoes.  Amish paste are good too.  I think next year we will do three beds of tomatoes with a few eggplants.  We are giving okra one last try but it isn't looking good.  Things that did so well in Texas are just not as happy here.  Little by little we are finding the things that do well here.  I am having a lot more success with tomatoes here since in Texas it would get hot so early and the season would be over quickly.  Here we get tomatoes a lot longer.

Those are really nice.  Our daughter got us one for Christmas, and preloaded a bunch of photos.  On occasion, she will send some new ones to the frame.  Our son can also upload some from California, and I have sent some from my phone.

I am trying to play catch up, because I am a few days behind.

So using my limited sample, scientific theory, I have determined that work is bad for your health.

I have been monitoring and recording my blood pressure, twice a day for the last month.  So Wednesday, I spent the day with the new owners of the firm, giving them some training on a computer program.

It so happens, that my highest blood pressure for the month, was recorded after this day of work.  I wonder why that is?  Maybe our medical experts have an explanation.

Hi Greg,

I'm not OB but I was curious about this.  This might be a really dumb question, but here goes.  Do I load this on my iPhone and sort of use it like Siri or am I thinking about it all wrong?  Thanks, from this outdated grandma.  😄

You can go to that link either on your phone or computer and register for an account. It’s free.

I typed in how to tell a new user how to use ChatGPT and I got this response.

To use ChatGPT for the first time, follow these steps:

Find a platform: Look for a platform that provides access to ChatGPT, such as a website or application.

Open the platform: Launch the platform on your device, whether it's a website or an app.

Start a conversation: Look for a chat or messaging interface on the platform. Click or tap on it to begin a conversation.

Introduce yourself: Type a greeting or message to initiate the conversation. For example, "Hello, I'm new here and would like to try ChatGPT."

Ask questions or provide prompts: Once the conversation is initiated, you can ask questions or provide prompts to ChatGPT. Be clear and concise in your queries.

Engage in the conversation: ChatGPT will respond to your prompts or questions. Read its responses and continue the conversation by replying to its messages.

Experiment and explore: Feel free to experiment with different types of prompts and questions to see the range of responses you can get from ChatGPT.

Be mindful of limitations: Keep in mind that ChatGPT has certain limitations. It may occasionally provide incorrect or nonsensical answers, so use critical thinking when interpreting its responses.

Respect guidelines and policies: Ensure that you abide by the platform's guidelines and policies while using ChatGPT. Be respectful and avoid using the system for harmful or malicious purposes.

Provide feedback: If the platform allows, consider providing feedback on the system's responses. This helps developers improve the model over time.

Remember, ChatGPT is a language model and not a human, so its responses are generated based on patterns it has learned from its training data.
