I will have to check that out.  Jefferson Airplane is special to me because they were the first concert I went to see.  Grace Slick was arrested after the concert.

Yes, 45s is what I meant.  I think I had a couple old 78s too.

My father had 78’s.I still have some ,the others broke. They are very old and are one sided with dates on them. One is an Enrico Caruso from 1908 but it has no value .One is an Italian opera from 1906.

Our charter music cruises that we do yearly are Rick and romance which is 70’s music we also hear many of the same groups on the bridge #17

On our last music charter they had on Jefferson Starship there lead singer did a great job on all of Grace Slicks big hits.

A few photos from today, from out in the yard.

We have these occasionally growing in the mulch this year.

Thanks to Google I have found out that they are “Mutinus elegans, commonly known as the elegant stinkhorn, the dog stinkhorn, the headless stinkhorn, or the devil's dipstick, which is a species of fungus in the Phallaceae family”.

The “Devil’s Dipstick”…. makes me wonder where the Devil dipped it?🤪🤷‍♂️

We spent some time later tonight coming up with a new lighting plan for the pool area. The plants have become so large that they are over taking the current landscaping   and walkway lights.

After we came in we sat to watch the end of the Jays game.  I was sitting in my chair to hear a rustling on the window screen and we all looked up. There was an Owl looking in at us. None of us could get a photo quick enough but it was literally feet away from me.

I made the comment, that he must have wanted to know if the Jays were winning. You know, birds of a feather stick together.😉  Then again, if he was a Boston fan it must be because of his bird brain. 😂

You will laugh, but my great memory of Jefferson Airplane came from their song, "Go Ask Alice".  I had a cat at the time whose nickname was "Mouse", and she loved to ride in the car.  We were driving North and this song was on the radio, and of course, I was singing along.  "Mouse" was sleeping in my lap, and when the song came to the phrase, 'remember what the dormouse said', she lifted her head and mewed at me. Fifty years+ and that is still a strong memory for me.  Thanks for the reminder and thanks for letting me share.

I still have some old vinyl records, that are the size of a 45 but were actually 78's, and are different colors (mostly yellow).  They were children's records.  Don't know why I am still holding on to them.  Yes,  I am older than the majority of you, but you'd never know it! 😂

Good afternoon everyone.

It is currently 70°F sunny with an occasional shower.

We were at church this morning and we sang 2 songs but everyone wore masks and social distancing was observed.

We are sitting in our back garden now and going to have lunch shortly.

Hopefully  @sgmnSue's sons wedding was fantastic yesterday.

I hope everyone has a nice day.

Our persistent Robin has returned with a new nest and batch of eggs. She has evidently found the perfect, protected spot.

This is the third nest this year, and the third batch of eggs.  All so far have hatched and left the nest.  Mama plans to go 3 for 3.

Expected hatching in a couple weeks.
