Not the only one. It is crazy that I can see an arrow and open it on iPad but can’t do that on win 10. I can see Graham’s video on win 10 but not iPad and totally nothing of the picture here on iPad. Guess I need to use both the pc and iPad simultaneously just to read the thread.🤔
Rare A&L_Ont Posted April 29, 2021 #14577 Share Posted April 29, 2021 (edited) Went to the city today. Nice, hot and dry. Corn was being planted and dirt was being worked. Dole Plantation was also an interesting stop on our Island day trip. There was a beach or park seemingly around every corner. We drove around the island one day and stopped at the blow hole. We also passed by what was Island Choppers HQ from the original Magnum PI. We also drove past Robin’s Nest. Unfortunately it has since sold and has been torn down. Along with a bit of my childhood. The gate might still be there. News story about it. https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/37914775/bye-bye-robins-nest-iconic-magnum-pi-property-demolished/ Make sure you get a Dole Whip at the Dole Plantation....
dbancroft Posted April 29, 2021 #14580 Share Posted April 29, 2021 Our day ended up a little different here. Zoom troubles with both grandkids so no school. Left at1 for my 2pm appointment at 6 flags in Landover for 2nd shot but not far from home we had a small accident. Car in left lane decided to go straight in a turn lane. We were in turn or straight thru lane beside him turning left. He hit us as we started turning in the intersection. Not much damage just scrapes around tire and trim torn off. His car was worse. He refused to give info so had to call the police. Wife and I and both grandkids are ok. Luckily was still able to get 2nd shot even though we were an hour late.
Rare A&L_Ont Posted April 29, 2021 #14581 Share Posted April 29, 2021 After dinner I took some photos around the pool. Pool should be opened tomorrow weather permitting. Hostas are popping. Hydrangeas are starting to come back to life. Ornamental pear tree is in blossom. The black eyed susans coming to life as well under the tree.

Good thing no one was hurt and you still got the shot.
Rare A&L_Ont Posted April 29, 2021 #14584 Share Posted April 29, 2021 Lucy was also hanging by the pool tonight. I’m really not looking forward to what color the water will be, but it’s the same every year. Waiting for an unsuspecting bird to land.

I opened ours 2-3 weeks ago on that really warm weekend. Not sure what happened this year but it was on of the easiest, only 2 pails of chlorine needed. Usually takes 4-5 and on a really bad year I've used 8. Still nice and clear and I haven't even started running the pump and filter yet. Jimbo Posted April 29, 2021 #14587 Share Posted April 29, 2021 (edited) No pool for us this year, left it in NJ with our house we sold 😞 ............We did just order a hot tub for our new house in Virginia, sad part is it won't be delievered until the first week of July. 🙂 Since Covid set in last year there has been a run on hot tubs..........go figure......I think pools were the same way last spring. Last one being his Not Yet Dead Tour in October 2018 in Boston.

Phil Collins has a lot of medical problems and had retired back in 2002 when he couldn't drum anymore. He came out of retirement to tour in 2017. It isn't an age thing at all, it is loss of hearing, nerve issues and spinal issues.
Rare h20skibum Posted April 29, 2021 #14594 Share Posted April 29, 2021 I will add another site to Bob's list. If you are up for a climb, you can hike diamond head. It starts out pretty easy. Part of it near the top has stairs You can get your certificate at the top for making the climb. Great views from the top. And did someone say SPAM? We were there during the Spam Jam Festival the last time. 7 1
