Am I the only one who can’t see the picture? Tried my iPad and phone. Haven’t tried my laptop.

Not the only one.  It is crazy that I can see an arrow and open it on iPad but can’t do that on win 10.  I can see Graham’s video on win 10 but not iPad and totally nothing of the picture here on iPad.  Guess I need to use both the pc and iPad simultaneously just to read the thread.🤔

Went to the city today. Nice, hot and dry.  Corn was being planted and dirt was being worked.

Am I the only one who air drums to this song. Lisa was driving so it’s all good.

@Tree_skier hit up a surf museum when you are there. We went to one on the North Shore and it was worth it. Dole Plantation was also an interesting stop on our Island day trip.  There was a beach or park seemingly around every corner.

We drove around the island one day and stopped at the blow hole.

We also passed by what was Island Choppers HQ from the original Magnum PI.

We also drove past Robin’s Nest.

Unfortunately it has since sold and has been torn down. Along with a bit of my childhood.  The gate might still be there.

Make sure you get a Dole Whip at the Dole Plantation....

Our day ended up a little different here. Zoom troubles with both grandkids so no school. Left at1 for my 2pm appointment at 6 flags in Landover for 2nd shot but not far from home we had a small accident. Car in left lane decided to go straight in a turn lane. We were in turn or straight thru lane beside him turning left. He hit us as we started turning in the intersection. Not much damage just scrapes around tire and trim torn off. His car was worse. He refused to give info so had to call the police.  Wife and I and both grandkids are ok. Luckily was still able to get 2nd shot even though we were an hour late.

After dinner I took some photos around the pool.  Pool should be opened tomorrow weather permitting.

What a crappy thing to happen. Good thing no one was hurt and you still got the shot.

I’m really not looking forward to what color the water will be, but it’s the same every year.

I opened ours 2-3 weeks ago on that really warm weekend.  Not sure what happened this year but it was on of the easiest, only 2 pails of chlorine needed.  Usually takes 4-5 and on a really bad year I've used 8.   Still nice and clear and I haven't even started running the pump and filter yet.

No pool for us this year, left it in NJ with our house we sold  😞 ............We did just order a hot tub for our new house in Virginia, sad part is it won't be delievered until the first week of July.  🙂

Since Covid set in last year there has been a run on hot tubs..........go figure......I think pools were the same way last spring.

So hard to believe that Phil Collins is 70 years old.

Love that song!  Air drumming required. We have gone to a lot of Genesis concerts and Phil Collins concerts. Last one being his Not Yet Dead Tour in October 2018 in Boston.

He can still sing but has to sit for his concerts.  Doesn't have the real high notes anymore but it was cool to see his young son touring with him.

Ringo Starr will be 81 in three months,Paul McCartney 79 in two months,

Mick Jagger 78 in three months. All would be playing to full capacity if there was no pandemic.

Thanks for this.  I've copied and pasted this to my things to do file for when we go.  Pearl Harbor was always on the top of my list. Dole pineapple plantation sounds great.

Besides all the places that everyone's mentioned, you must also try

-Leonard's Bakery for their malasadas (Portuguese donut)

-Rainbow Drive-In (Best plate lunch)

-Hawaii's Favorite Kitchen (for Rainbow Drive-In food, poke, and huge shave ice all in one place)

We did the Robert's Oahu Grand Circle Island Tour (9hr. tour).  Highlights are Diamond Head; Hanona Blow Hole Lookout; Nuuanu Pali Lookout; Byodo-In Temple; Kualoa Ranch; Northshore Surfing Beaches; Dole Plantation

Also, make sure you visit the Ala Moana Shopping Mall.

Aloha Stadium Swap Meet (aka, Aloha Flea Market- opens Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday 8AM-3PM)

Phil Collins has a lot of medical problems and had retired back in 2002 when he couldn't drum anymore.  He came out of retirement to tour in 2017.  It isn't an age thing at all, it is loss of hearing, nerve issues and spinal issues.

I will add another site to Bob's list.  If you are up for a climb, you can hike diamond head.

It starts out pretty easy.

Part of it near the top has stairs

You can get your certificate at the top for making the climb.

Great views from the top.

And did someone say SPAM?  We were there during the Spam Jam Festival the last time.

I remember him when he appeared with Philip Bailey. They were great together.

I believe I have every Genesis LP and CD that they ever released.

It's required

This is my favorite version

A little long intro, so skip to 2:20 mark😉

Drums kick in at around 5:20. Epic
