Ok guys, go start a PUP only thread and the rest of us won’t follow it. I promise

How about you start a banter thread, rather than we create ANOTHER PUP thread?

In the meantime, I know how to enjoy some manner of quiet . . . .

We were here first…. For some reason, some people are now objecting to the banter that made this thread popular for 251 pages.  We’re not going anywhere.

Someone made a post that once they reached Elite level they stopped receiving PUP.

Wow !

I reached Elite and I have not gotten a PUP notification in  awhile, but, plenty of X email.

I still receive all the PUPs and all the other junk Celebrity sends out.

I am Elite Plus and I still receive all the PUP emails which don't do me much good in addition to a couple of Celebrity offers every day, , Captains Club, Blue Chip Club emails. I don't dare change my email preferences as I am in fear of it all stopping. My Royal Caribbean offers stoppped coming 8 years ago despite calling them often for 5 years to get them to send me offers. Call centers promised to fix but always failed. I gave up trying to get those.  Instead I watch for RCI sales on Twitter.....Celebrity/Royal Caribbean IT is a mystery to me and them.

Once upon a time I got the PUP e-mails, but then they mysteriously stopped, so I depend on this thread to let me know when there's an offer.  Amazingly, that has not stopped the torrent of other e-mails I get from Celebrity every day.

Yep, I hate to put anyone on ignore, but there's 2 or 3 here you could do that to and this 251 page thread would be about cut in half.

Perhaps we will see something sweet for Valentines Day.

A lot of people forget you can bring sealed snacks including candy so one could still surprise their significant other with a box of chocolates, a Giant Hersey Kiss, etc.  Sealed snacks and sealed non-alcoholic beverages, including energy drinks, can be brought on from both embarkation ports and ports of call

Soda as well. I love my Cherry Coke. I think 12 cans is the limit.

It would appear X removed the beverage carryon rules from FAQ and I do believe it use to state up to 12 drinks, each couldn't exceed 12oz.  I've checked-in both a 24 pack for a 15 nighter and a 12 of 16oz for a 12 nighter

I'm my FAQ search, I stumbled upon this, 3 questions to ask the same thing; definitely the first and last could be merged but they could easily merge all three into one IMO

The "recovering alcoholic" could be a nice way to get around purchase requirements for couples. 🙂

Yup!  Although I'm guessing if one says "can't drink to due to a medical condition" that's all that needs to be said; don't think they'll want a dr's note or will even ask what medical condition is
