Masks when having official photos onboard

Hoping someone can please help with this question - just wondering if you are having a photo taken by the ship photographers (formal night or embarkation photo for example), can you take your mask off for a few moments while it is taken?

Many thanks in advance.

Yes, you can take off, you can’t catch COVID while getting pictures, drinking etc…everyone knows that..

Just get rid of the masks like your sister company did…

.. What ?

Sorry, just to check - those of you saying you can take off masks, is this experience as you have sailed recently?

Edit: checking as we will cancel our package if masks are required in photos. This is our honeymoon and would like some nice pics. Normally wouldn’t bother but as it’s a special occasion 🥂

Should also point out, we are happy to wear masks all other times!

Do you really think RCI is going to risk loosing the income from photos by not letting people take their masks off all in the name of safety? You just have to keep your mouth shut and pinch your nose closed.

When you get on a ship, in the USA, you will find the majority of the ship areas, will be for vaccinated guests, and you will not have a mask on.  So.....any pictures you take, will not be required to have a mask on because you will be socially distanced from others, most likely have a vaccine, and the photographer will also have a vaccine.  You will find on the ship, your mask will be off 75% or more of the time.

Though be sure to get at least a few pics with the masks on. These are going to be cruises to remember.

My son and daughter-in-law got married last October. When we did all of the traditional wedding party photos, we had our masks off. We did, however, take a few with our masks on. 50 years from now when they look back at the pictures, they'll remember the things we were going through at that time.
